One Direction hasn’t posted on Instagram for 219 very long weeks…until today!

The band returned to the social media platform ahead of the 10 year anniversary of the band’s formation, which is tomorrow.

The band announced a hiatus years ago and original members Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan all pursued solo careers.

The 26-year-old singer went shirtless while modeling pieces in his second collection with the fashion company.

Zayn Malik and his girlfriend Gigi Hadid are expecting their first child together and his former One Direction bandmate, Liam Payne, send his congratulations via Instagram Live.

“Also this week, didn’t really wanna leave it out, wanted to make sure I said something on my own place before I started getting asked about it relentlessly by everybody,” Liam told his fans during his Instagram Live over the weekend. “I just wanted to say congratulations to Zayn and Gigi obviously, you know, they’re having a baby.”

Liam himself is a dad to a son Bear, born in 2017, with his ex Cheryl Cole.

There’s reportedly some One Direction news that does not involve Zayn.

Liam Payne and Niall Horan had a virtual reunion on Instagram Live today (April 20).

The two One Direction musicians caught up with each other during their chat, and opened up about what exactly they’d been doing while in quarantine, making fun at their fail to have Louis Tomlinson join.

“Our 3-way FaceTime went really well,” Liam joked.

A shirtless Niall with his guitar added, “I mean, it’s so funny. We can never get anyone together even though we’re all doing nothing.”

“Even though I know for a fact Louis’ just sitting home smoking cigarettes and drinking beers. I was doing the same yesterday,” he added, poking fun at Louis.

Over the weekend, Liam hinted that Zayn Malik wouldn’t be part of the One Direction anniversary plans.

Zayn Malik apparently won’t be included in the One Direction 10th Anniversary plans.

According to The Sun, Liam Payne revealed that he, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan will take part in the special plans, but shared that Zayn would be absent from them.

“Most of us are in London. We’ve been trying to arrange the first group FaceTime at the moment,” Liam shared while chatting with DJ Alesso in an Instagram Live.

He then added that Alesso could “come and fill in for Zayn, join the band.”

While nothing else was mentioned on Zayn‘s participation, Liam did admit that Louis did call him out for spilling reunion plans.

“I can’t say too much it was actually Louis told me off for revealing a bit about our plans the other day. So I had a group telling off on the group chat,” he added.

Liam, Louis, Harry and Niall did all just re-follow Zayn, who left the band in 2014, on social media.

Fans began to notice that the bandmates began following Zayn on Twitter over the weekend, and many believe a reunion could be planned! Some fans are pointing out the guys have always followed Zayn, while others believe the follows recently happened. It’s unclear at this time.

The band announced their hiatus in 2016, and Liam himself recently fueled reunion rumors in an interview a few days ago, saying, “We’ve got a ten-year anniversary coming up, so we’ve all been speaking together a lot over the last few weeks, which has been really nice.”

Harry recently got very candid about Zayn‘s exit from the band back in 2015.

Liam Payne hasn’t seen his son Bear in weeks.

The 26-year-old “Stack It Up” singer opened up about his quarantine life without Bear, 3, in a recent interview with The Sun.

Bear is currently staying with his mother, Liam‘s ex Cheryl, while Liam is in London, England.

“Me and Cheryl had a very open conversation about visiting, but it’s difficult,” Liam said. “It was right around his birthday that it [the lockdown] happened. It was one of the first times I was in the ­country for his birthday and I was ready to go over and I just thought, ‘I don’t know how I feel about it.’”

“So it’s just been difficult having to put up with a lot of FaceTime, and sometimes he wants to talk on FaceTime, sometimes he doesn’t,” Liam continued. “I have a new-found respect for people who have these jobs that mean they have to miss their kids a lot.”

Liam added during a recent Instagram Live, “Bear is really good. He is learning a lot more about FaceTime at the moment. It is difficult not to see him. That has been the hardest part for me. I’m missing him.”

“I have a mini-Batman which I took off my son,” he also revealed. Cute!

“We are all learning different things about each other and it is difficult and we are all overcoming such a difficult thing,” Liam shared. “But as a glimmer of a positive, there is a nice community feel about it. It is a terrible thing but there is a bit of beauty that we are missing people so much that it has brought life back to us, away from our phones.”
