The 'West Wing' Reunion Special Has a New Trailer - Watch Now!

The cast of The West Wing has reunited for a special that will debut on HBO Max next week, with weeks to go until the general election.

The special marks the first time in 17 years that the original cast has reunited with creator Aaron Sorkin. They got together to reenact the “Hartsfield’s Landing” episode from season three on a theatrical stage.

The West Wing stars Dulé Hill, Allison Janney, Rob Lowe, Janel Moloney, Richard Schiff, Bradley Whitford, and Martin Sheen will reprise their roles from the episode. Sterling K. Brown will be playing Leo McGarry, the role played by the late John Spencer.

The creative team and cast organized this historic production in order to raise awareness for and support the vital mission of When We All Vote, a non-profit, nonpartisan organization co-chaired by Michelle Obama which was founded to increase participation in every election in America. In honor of the special, WarnerMedia will make a donation to When We All Vote.

The special will debut eon HBO Max on October 15.

Rob Lowe, Allison Janney, & More 'West Wing' Cast Members Arrive for Reunion Taping in L.A.

The cast of The West Wing is together again!

Rob Lowe, Allison Janney, Bradley Whitford, Martin Sheen, Janel Moloney, and Richard Schiff were all seen arriving at the reunion special taping on Friday (September 18) in Los Angeles.

Also photographed arriving at the taping was Sterling K. Brown, who will have a new role in the special.

Not seen arriving at the taping was Dulé Hill, but he will be a part of the reunion.

The cast will appear for the theatrical stage presentation of Season 3 episode “Hartsfield’s Landing” with director and executive producer Thomas Schlamme for the special, plus guest appearances and a message from the former first lady, Michelle Obama.

The episode first aired in February of 2002, and features President Bartlet (Sheen) engaging Sam (Lowe) and Toby (Schiff) in chess games that mirror his brinksmanship with the Chinese government; Josh (Whitford) sweating the results of primary voting in a tiny New Hampshire town; and C.J. (Janney) and Charlie (Hill) facing off in a prank war.

A West Wing Special to Benefit When We All Vote will air on HBO Max on October 15. The special is a benefit for When We All Vote, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization that aims to increase voter participation.

Kate Bosworth is In an Oil War in 'The Devil Has a Name' Trailer - Watch Now!

The trailer for the upcoming dark comedy The Devil Has a Name has been released.

Director Edward James Olmos stars in the film alongside David Strathairn, Kate Bosworth, Katie Aselton, Haley Joel Osment, Alfred Molina, and Martin Sheen.

Here’s the synopsis: “Widowed, broke and adrift, farmer Fred Stern (Strathairn) finds a new purpose in life when he learns that a multi-national oil company has been polluting his water. But as his crusade against the powers that be spills out of the courtroom and into his personal life, Fred must find a way to avoid the ruin of his farm, his family and his dreams. The Devil Has a Name will be released in theaters, on demand, and on digital on October 16.

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin are opening up about getting arrested.

The Grace & Frankie co-stars filled in as guest hosts on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Friday (January 17).

During their appearance, they discussed their recent arrest at a Fire Drill Friday climate change protest led by Jane in Washington, D.C. Co-stars Martin Sheen and Sam Waterston also joined the conversation, and discussed getting arrested for engaging in civil disobedience, and Sam revealed what his family thought of the situation.

Later in the show, Jane and Lily sat in the hot seat to play “Ellen’s Burning Questions.”

Plus, Jane encouraged viewers to help bring awareness to the urgency of the climate crisis by participating in Fire Drill Fridays, inviting everyone to join her at the first Fire Drill Friday held in Los Angeles at City Hall on February 7 at 11 a.m. She urged anyone interested in starting a Fire Drill Friday in their city to text “JANE” to 877-877. Joaquin Phoenix Gets Detained at Jane Fonda's Fire Drill Friday Protest in D.C.

Joaquin Phoenix is the latest celebrity to be arrested during Jane Fonda‘s weekly Fire Drill Friday protest.

The recent Golden Globe winner joined several stars for the latest protest on the steps of the Capitol Building on Friday (January 10) in Washington, D.C.

Jane was joined this week by Joaquin, Martin Sheen, Susan Sarandon, and Maggie Gyllenhaal.

During a quick speech that he gave at the protest, Joaquin told supporters that the quickest thing they can do to help reverse climate change is to alter their diets to go vegan.

Joaquin and Martin were both detained during the protest.

Jane has been arrested four times so far during the protests and if she gets a fifth arrest then she faces significant jail time.

Francis Ford Coppola Celebrates 'Apocalypse Now: Final Cut' Premiere - Watch Trailer!

Francis Ford Coppola hits the red carpet alongside Laurence Fishburne and Martin Sheen while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of their film Apocalypse Now: Final Cut held at ArcLight Cinerama Dome on Monday (August 12) in Hollywood.

The Oscar-winning director debuted a brand-new version of his classic film and was also joined by other leading stars Albert Hall and Frederic Forrest alongside Laurence and Martin.

This is the second time Apocalypse Now has undergone a notable update. In 2001, Francis Ford Coppola released “Apocalypse Now Redux” with 49 minutes of additional footage.

That cut was “too long,” Francis Ford Coppola said at the premiere (via USA Today), and the original was a “perhaps too short.” Now at 183 minutes, his “Final Cut,” originally prepared for this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, is “a version that I like.”

Jane Fonda & Lily Tomlin Buddy Up to Promote 'Grace & Frankie'

Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin hit the red carpet together as they step out for the Grace & Frankie Emmy For Your Consideration Event on Saturday night (May 18) at the Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles.

The ladies stepped out in coordinating white and black outfits as they attended the event to promote their hit Netflix show.
