Mena Massoud paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday (December 2) and dished all about his success since the release of his Disney live-action film, Aladdin.

“It was, it was a huge thing. I went back to Egypt recently and I really felt the love there,” the 28-year-old actor told Jimmy of his recent visit and growing up Egyptian and Canadian. “The last person to come out of Egypt was Rami Malek, we got Rami – but Omar Sharif was the big one. There’s a lot coming up, it’s nice.”

Mena also talked about his first pet being a bird and his new show Reprisal.

Mena Massoud and Jacob Elordi both dress in black sweaters at the 2019 Napa Valley Film Festival held at Materra | Cunat Family Vineyards on Saturday afternoon (November 16) in Napa, Calif.

The 28-year-old Aladdin star and the 22-year-old Euphoria actor were recognized as rising stars at the Rising Star Showcase during the festival.

Liana Liberato, Kelsey Asbille, Dean-Charles Chapman and Jessica Barden were also honored at the showcase. Hayley Law was also in attendance.

“Thank you @napafilmfest for having me as a rising star ✨ I am rising!,” Jessica wrote on Instagram.

Rainey Qualley and Kilo Kish showed their style while celebrating with AllSaints!

The two musicians stepped out for the brand’s 25th anniversary celebration with Chief Creative Director Wil Beedle on Thursday night (November 14) at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles.

They were also joined at the event by Mena Massoud, Gia Coppola, Bria Vinaite, Keir Gilchrist and Salem Mitchell.

During the evening, guests enjoyed musical entertainment while sipped Gia Coppola Wine, signature Yola Mezcal cocktails and customizing AllSaints shirts.

Florence is an Oscars frontrunner for Best Supporting Actress for her work in Little Women and Joey is up for awards for her work in The Act, for which she earned an Emmy nom.

More stars at the event included Once Upon a Time in Hollywood‘s Julia Butters, Knives Out‘s Katherine Langford and Jaeden Martell, Stranger Things‘ Joe Keery, and Aladdin‘s Mena Massoud.

Here’s a synopsis: “Reprisal is a hyper-noir story that follows a relentless femme fatale who, after being left for dead, sets out to take revenge against her brother and his bombastic gang of gearheads.”

Booksmart‘s Beanie Feldstein, Aladdin‘s Mena Massoud, When They See Us star Jharrel Jerome, and Mickey And The Bear actress Camila Morrone were honored with Breakout Awards at the film festival on Wednesday night (October 30) at the Trustees Theater in Savannah, Georgia.

Last month, Jharrel won the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie for his role in When They See Us.

Abigail Spencer brought her new Hulu series Reprisal 2019 New York Comic-Con!

The 38-year-old actress stepped out for the show’s panel during the event on Saturday (October 5) at Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

She was also joined by her cast mates David Dastmalchian, Rhys Wakefield, Mena Massoud, Rodrigo Santoro, Gilbert Owuor and Madison Davenport.

Reprisal is described as a hyper-noir story that follows a relentless femme fatale who, after being left for dead, sets out to take revenge against her brother and his bombastic gang of gearheads.
