Meryl Davis is a married woman!

The 32-year-old Olympic figure skater and Dancing with the Stars champion married longtime love and fellow figure skater Fedor Andreev on Saturday (June 22) in a romantic farmhouse ceremony in the South of France.

“We chose each other, and we’ve been committed to each other for a long time,” Meryl told People. “And yet, to be able to celebrate our relationship and what this means for us and our families with our families and our closest friends — and the fact that so many of them are traveling all the way to Europe to celebrate us and this time in our lives — just means so much.”

“We love each other unimaginably,” Fedor, 37, added. “So I’m just really excited to make it official, since we know we want to spend the rest of our lives together.”

Meryl and Fedor have been together for nine years and got engaged in July 2017.

Octavia Spencer is very aware of the lack of diversity in Hollywood and she’s not afraid to speak up about it!

“Since making Hidden Figures, I don’t have a problem saying to a room of male executives: ‘I need a female writer or a female director,’ or ‘I need a black voice or a Latin voice’,” the 46-year-old Oscar-winning actress recently told the New York Times. “I do not feel bad about it.”

“The big boys were big boys,” Octavia added about speaking up in meetings in the past. “They heard me and encouraged me to have a voice, always listened to my needs. We as women should always ask for what we need and might be surprised that there might not be as much resistance as we perhaps perceive.”

Octavia rocked a sophisticated ensemble to attend the 2016 UNICEF Snowflake Ball last night, Tuesday (November 29), alongside Maggie Q, Tea Leoni, Patina Miller, Brooke Burke and her hubby David Charvet, Meryl Davis, Kyle MacLachlan and his wife Desiree Gruber at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City.

FYI: Octavia is wearing a black tuxedo jacket and matching pants by Laura Basci. Brooke is wearing a Rubin Singer gown.

Bella Hadid‘s new campaign deal with Nike was announced this week and the brand was criticized by Olympic figure skater Meryl Davis for not using a professional athlete in its ads.

Meryl posted a collage of photos featuring Bella in Nike gear, Kylie Jenner in Puma clothing, and gymnast Aly Raisman wearing Reebok. She captioned the pic, “I’ll take the one promoted by the athlete please.”

Bella‘s mom Yolanda Hadid has come to her defense and told TMZ that her daughter competed in equestrian riding from when she was 3 until she was 15, when she was diagnosed with Lyme disease. She even had dreams of going to the Olympics in the sport.

“You obviously don’t have to be an athlete to wear or enjoy Nike wear,” Yolanda said.

The Dancing With the Stars pro dancers will join host Maksim Chmerkovskiy, as well as Kristi Yamaguchi.

The event also features 2014 Olympic Champions Meryl Davis and Charlie White, Tanith Belbin White and Ben Agosto, British champions Sinead and John Kerr, Naomi Lang and Peter Tchernyshev, Penny Coomes and Nick Buckland and more.

Maks and Meryl will also perform a dance routine at the event, which showcases a journey of dance through the ages with both dancing and skating, enhanced by music and special effects to create an elegant production on the ice.

Shall We Dance on Ice is set to tape at the US Cellular Coliseum on Saturday, December 12th in Bloomington, Ill., and air in February 2016 on ABC.

Julianne isn’t afraid to flaunt some skin while hitting the red carpet at her pal Mark Ballas‘ Kicking Clouds EP Release Party held at Crustacean on Tuesday night (September 16) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 26-year-old actress was joined at the event by her brother Derek and former Dancing with the Stars contestants Meryl Davis, Amy Purdy, and Chelsea Kane.

The week before, Julianne and Mark were spotted exiting a dance studio together in Los Angeles.

Can you believe that we are already crowning the eighteenth winner of Dancing With the Stars?! Well we are, and the season 18 finale just wrapped up!

This year’s three finalists were Full House actress Candace Cameron Bure and her partner Mark Ballas, Olympic ice dancer Meryl Davis and her partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, and Paralympic snowboarder Amy Purdy and her partner Derek Hough.

For their three performances, Cameron received an overall score of 78, Meryl earned herself a perfect 90, and Amy was just a hair away from perfection with an 89.

Ice skating duo Meryl Davis and Charlie White wave to the crowd after taking home the gold medal for ice dancing at the Iceberg Palace during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics on Monday night (February 17) in Sochi, Russia.

The ice dancers earned a total of 195.52 points, which was enough to earn them the first gold medal in ice dancing for the US in Olympics history.

Canada’s Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, the Vancouver Winter Olympics Gold Medalists took home the silver with Russia’s Elena Ilinykh and Nikita Katsalapov winning the bronze.
