Jonathan Rhys-Meyers Would Never Say Never to Another 'Mission: Impossible' Movie

While on the carpet, Jonathan opened up about possible returning to the Mission: Impossible franchise.

“I like Tom. He’s a really, really nice man and a really hard worker. Actually, I’ve been in the industry 24 years and I doubt I’ve met anyone who works as hard as Tom Cruise. Nobody has approached me, but I’d never say never,” Jonathan said. “I had a great experience with Tom on Mission: Impossible III and so I recommend any actor do a Mission: Impossible. They’re a lot of fun.”

The movie is out now in the U.S. via IFC Films.

David Duchovny Covers 'Los Angeles Confidential' September 2012

David Duchovny and his Californication co-star Natascha McElhone heat up the September 2012 cover of Los Angeles Confidential.

Here is what the 52-year-old actor had to share with the mag:

On how his character impacts his personal life: “I’ve never been the kind of actor who has to live a certain way in order to play a certain guy, so there hasn’t been any of that. It made me less frantic artistically, trying to show something, trying to prove something. Being able to succeed in this role comedically-and so different from The X Files-made me less insecure, less irritable and more aware of what I can do. Rather than saying, ‘Hey, I’m funny, guys! I’m funny. I’m funny,’ just going and being able to do it meant a lot to me, as a professional and as a person.”

On how he thinks Californication will end: “Part of me wants to get to repercussions. I don’t think Hank is going to die, but I always wanted him to die. I thought that would be a great way to end the show: It just catches up with him, eventually. My image was that he was going to marry Karen on his deathbed, basically, and that he was going to get it all. And not be able to enjoy it.”
