Fox has announced the host and four celebrity judges for the upcoming singing competition series Alter Ego!

The new show has been billed as “the world’s first avatar singing competition series” and the next iteration of the musical competition show.

On Alter Ego, “lost dreams and second chances are reignited when singers from all walks of life become the stars they’ve always wanted to be. However, these contestants won’t perform as themselves. Rather, they’ll be given the chance to show how they’ve always wanted to be seen, creating their dream avatar alter ego to reinvent themselves while showcasing their unique performance style via motion capture technology.”

Jessica Simpson‘s diary pages from 2005/2006 have been revealed, which reference her divorce from Nick Lachey.

In these diary pages, which are handwritten, Jessica reflects on Nick moving on with now-wife Vanessa Lachey less than a year after their separation. The pages are being published in a new paperback version of her book, “Open Book.”

One snippet reads (via ET), “So, Nick, you’re with another already? Seems that you forgot the love you spoke to me. I’m saddened beyond belief. Alone in the dark, with no one to call my own.”

Jessica revealed so many details in her book and during her 2020 press tour promoting the book. One detail included the last time they had sex (and it was after their split), and how she told Nick she wanted a divorce.

The 46-year-old singer and Love is Blind host stepped out to run a few errands on Thursday afternoon (May 28) in Los Angeles.

Nick showed off his buff muscles in a black tank shirt paired with basketball shorts and a white face mask for his afternoon outing.

Earlier this month, Nick took to Instagram to wish wife Vanessa Lachey a Happy Mother’s Day.

“Happy Mother’s Day to the sexiest, hardest working, most dedicated woman on the planet. The kids and I are all so lucky to have you and everything you bring to our family. We LOVE you!!!! #happymothersday,” Nick wrote.

Nick and Vanessa have been married since 2011 and share three kids – sons Camden, 7, and Phoenix, 3, along with daughter Brooklyn, 5.

Nick Lachey is putting a social distancing twist on his group 98 Degrees‘ classic track “The Hardest Thing.”

The 46-year-old actor and singer took to Instagram on Monday (March 23) to share the new rendition amid the current health crisis.

“#MusicMonday: Quarantine Edition,” he captioned the video. “When the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do…. is stay home.”

“It’s the hardest thing we’ve ever had to do,” Nick Lachey sings. “To stay stuck in our house just watching all this bad news.”

Vanessa Lachey got candid about her sex life with hubby Nick Lachey!

The 39-year-old Love is Blind host – which she co-hosts with her 46-year-old husband – spoke about keeping their relationship alive.

“Shower sex,” she told The Bellas Podcast about secrets to their long lasting marriage. “I love you Nick. So I’m in the shower and I’m like, ‘I have a full day. You have a full day. It’s either now or never.’ The kids are at school. It happens and then later that night, if you get like the cherry on top, great. But if not, we already did shower sex.”

Co-host Nikki Bella said that she and fiancé Artem Chigvintsev “stopped” shower sex because they need a “bigger shower.”

Vanessa then responded, “If you tell Artem, ‘I want to have sex with you in the shower so we need a bigger shower,’ I have a feeling he’ll be like Extreme Makeover. In 48 hours, you’ll have a brand-new marble shower. I always say, ‘Tomorrow wake me up.’ And [Nick's] like you know that never works because I’m never a morning sex girl. I’m not. I’m sorry. I need to be late night, which is why I’m in the shower and he’s there and the kids are gone…I say babe and he knows exactly.”

Hoda Kotb is opening up about the awkward moment that occurred during her interview with Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

During the Today show interview last week, host Hoda mentioned that Jessica Simpson recently expressed that Vanessa and Nick sent her a gift once during a milestone moment in her life. Vanessa jumped in and denied doing any such thing.

Hoda admitted on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen on Wednesday night (February 12) that she didn’t expect the interview to go that way at all.

“Here’s the thing: When I was interviewing Jessica, she was talking about, like, on what great terms everyone was,” Hoda explained. “Like, ‘I’m so happy for them. I have children. They have children.’ And she mentioned something, I thought, about a gift. So, I was like ‘Oh, so everybody’s happy.’ So when they came, I was like, ‘Isn’t that cool? Everybody’s friends.’ And then that wasn’t the way it was received.”

Hoda, who was joined by her co-host Jenna Bush Hager, said she “didn’t understand what was going on” and “actually was confused.”

Vanessa Lachey recently reacted to a fan calling her out for that Jessica Simpson moment.

During an interview on the Today show this week, and awkward moment occurred between Nick and Vanessa Lachey, as well as the hosts of the show.

Vanessa responded, “Should I have pretended to give it? Dang. Can we get a do over and I will tell them it was big beautiful basket. ;-). Kidding, sorry you think that, just wanted to be truthful. That’s all. But the gift sounds lovely!”

She later added, “Truly… I think it’s weird accepting credit for something you didn’t do or give. Even weirder to bring up something so random. Just giving facts. Wanted to make sure we were truthful.”
