Disney+'s 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Series Cast Announced, Ewan McGregor & Hayden Christensen to Star!

Disney+ has officially announced the cast of their upcoming Star Wars special event series, Obi-Wan Kenobi

Ewan McGregor will be returning as the iconic Jedi Master, with Hayden Christensen in the role of Darth Vader!

The story begins 10 years after the dramatic events of “Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith” where Kenobi faced his greatest defeat, the downfall and corruption of his best friend and Jedi apprentice, Anakin Skywalker turned evil Sith Lord Darth Vader.

BJ Novak Is Getting an Anthology Series at FX - See Which Stars Will Appear in the First Episodes!

BJ Novak is launching a series!

The 40-year-old The Office alum scored a series order for an upcoming half-hour anthology series at FX, Variety reported on Wednesday (May 6).

“Thrilled, excited, humbled — these are the words in every press release, and I can’t believe how much I actually mean them. This is my dream show, and FX is the dream place to make it. When I brought it to FX, I wondered if it went too far, and they told me, you can go further. I can’t wait to get started,” he said in a statement.

The series is described as “using the issues of our times as a jumping off point to tell character-driven stories about the world we live in today.” Two episodes have already been filmed, and each episode features a new cast.

Episode one stars Lucas Hedges, Kaitlyn Dever, O’Shea Jackson Jr., George Wallace, Ed Asner and Brendan Francis Scannell, among others.

The second episode stars Jon Bernthal, Boyd Holbrook, Amy Landecker, Beau Bridges and more.

Kaitlyn Dever & Jon Bernthal Join New FX Pilot from BJ Novak

The Office star BJ Novak will be writing, directing, and executive producing a new pilot for FX Networks and a star-studded cast is attached!

Platform is an “anthological series that uses the boldest issues of our times as a jumping-off point to tell singular, character-driven stories about the world we live in today,” according to Deadline.

It sounds like each story will be contained in each half-hour episode. Two episodes are being filmed and one is a dramatic one while the other is more comedic.

Kaitlyn Dever, Jon Bernthal, Lucas Hedges, Boyd Holbrook, O’Shea Jackson Jr., George Wallace and Ed Asner are among the actors starring in the pilot.

BJ served creative roles on both The Office and The Mindy Project, in addition to his acting commitments.

When these ancient super-species—thought to be mere myths—rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters will hit theaters on May 31.

A Los Angeles crime saga in the vein of Heat, the new movie follows the intersecting and often personally connected lives of an elite unit of the LA County Sheriff’s Dept. and the state’s most successful bank robbery crew as the outlaws plan a seemingly impossible heist on the Federal Reserve Bank of downtown Los Angeles.

Pablo Schreiber, O’Shea Jackson Jr., 50 Cent, Maurice Compte, and Sonya Balmores also star.

The movie will be released on January 19, 2018.
