Lily Collins, Orlando Bloom, and Thandie Newton walk the carpet at the 2019 Breakthrough Prize event on Sunday (November 4) at NASA Ames Research Center in Mountain View, Calif.

Also in attendance at the event were engaged couple Katharine McPhee and David Foster, Pierce Brosnan with wife Keely Shaye Smith, and model Karolina Kurkova.

The Breakthrough Prizes recognize the world’s top scientists. Each prize is $3 million and presented in the fields of Life Sciences (up to four per year), Fundamental Physics (one per year) and Mathematics (one per year).

Pierce Brosnan‘s son Paris Brosnan is doing his part to encourage everyone to vote in the upcoming midterm elections!

“There’s a lot at stake right now,” the 17-year-old explained to People. “I think it’s important that my generation is participating in the political process.”

Paris released a video which he wrote, edited, and directed titled “Your Voice Matters.”

“I’m a surfer so of course I’m sensitive to protecting the environment but also affordable education, immigration reform, affordable health care, gun control. I talked to a wide variety of kids and heard their thoughts and voices and a lot of them were similar,” Paris explained of the issues that are important to him.

“Voting is a privilege and it’s free and if you don’t vote, then you aren’t engaged in shaping your own future. It’s wild to see a bunch of kids my age taking action. No matter what you believe, the earth is what we all have in common, let’s just make our voices heard and inspire others,” he continued.

It’s a Mrs. Doubtfire family reunion!

Pierce Brosnan reunited with three of the child stars 25 years after filming the classic Robin Williams comedy: Matthew Lawrence, Mara Wilson and Lisa Jakub.

If you don’t remember, Lisa played Lydia, the oldest of the Hillard children. She shared a video, in which Pierce holds a camera up to his phone showing them at the 1993 premiere of their movie and then revealing them all now.

“Here you go: At the premiere of Mrs. Doubtfire and here we are, we pull back slowly, tada!” he said.

“Love you, love you all so much. So good to be a part of your lives. I want to get into the picture as well.” Watch the sweet moment below!

Pierce Brosnan made an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Thursday night (July 19) and told a hilarious story about the time Barbra Streisand‘s late beloved dog bit him after hearing him sing in Mamma Mia!

The 65-yeare-old actor explained the he is longtime friends with Barbra and they both live close to each other.

“We thought we’d show it to Barbra. She wanted to see it, so we went over to her house and put the movie on. She said, ‘Come sit beside me, darling,’” Pierce recalled. “I’m watching the movie thinking, ‘What am I doing showing this to Barbra Streisand?’”

“The movie finished and she said, ‘That was absolutely wonderful, darling.’ I said, ‘Thank you so much’ and at that point her dog, Sammie, bit my arm,” Pierce continued. “She said, ‘Oh Sammy, are you alright? I said, ‘But, Barbra—she just bit me.’”

The Mamma Mia sequel, Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, is hitting theaters in just a few hours and it’s expected to dominate this weekend’s box office!

The film is currently receiving some fun reviews, and when the credits begin rolling, you’re going to want to stay in your seat! There’s a song performed in the credits and after the credits, there’s a quick, fun blooper scene!

Returning to the cast are Amanda Seyfried and Dominic Cooper as Sophie and Sky, Meryl Streep as Donna, Pierce Brosnan, Stellan Skarsgard, and Colin Firth as Sophie’s three possible dads: Sam, Bill and Harry, and Christine Baranski and Julie Walters as Tonya and Rosie.

Joining the cast from the first film Lily James as Young Donna, Cher as Sophie’s grandma, Alexa Davies as young Rosie, Jessica Keenan Wynn as young Tonya, Jeremy Irvine as young Sam, Josh Dylan as young Bill, and Hugh Skinner as young Harry.

Cher and Meryl Streep hit the blue carpet together while attending the world premiere of their anticipated film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again held at the Eventim Apollo on Monday (July 16) in London, England.

The superstars, who both starred in 1983′s Silkwood together, were joined at the event by their co-stars Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, Christine Baranski and Stellan Skarsgard.

Also in attendance to show their support was Meryl‘s The Post Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, Andy Garcia, Pierce‘s wife Keely Shaye Smith, Colin‘s wife Livia Firth and Stellan‘s wife Megan Everett.

The cast is currently on a huge press tour around the world ahead of their movie’s release on July 20.
