Ansel Elgort is joined by girlfriend Violetta Komyshan at the premiere of his new movie Jonathan on Saturday afternoon (April 21) at the SVA Theatre in New York City.

The 24-year-old actor looked sharp in a burgundy suit as he hit the premiere alongside co-star Suki Waterhouse at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

Here’s a synopsis of the film (via Deadline): “A successful architect who lives a normal life dictated by a strict routine. Jonathan’s twin brother John, on the other hand, sleeps all day and spends the night secretly socializing. When Jonathan discovers that John has a secret girlfriend, Elena, he forces John to end things and then starts a new relationship Elena out of curiosity and jealousy. John ultimately catches wind of the affair, which puts his relationship with his brother at serious risk and forces Jonathan to seek the help of Dr. Mina Nariman, the brothers’ controlling doctor.”

Ansel will play the twins, and Suki is playing the role of Elena. Patricia Clarkson also stars in the film.

Robert De Niro and his wife Grace Hightower stepped out to attend an important documentary premiere last night!

The couple attended a stopped by a screening of Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story during the Tribeca Film Festival on Friday night (April 20) at BMCC Tribeca PAC in New York City.

They were joined at the event by Trayvon‘s parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracey Martin.

The docu-series, which was produced by Jay Z, is based on Trayvon‘s parent’s book, Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin.

The six part series is set to premiere on the Paramount Network in July.

Elijah Wood just premiered Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss By Passing Through The Gateway Chosen By the Holy Storsh at the Tribeca Film Festival!

The 37-year-old actor, who produced the upcoming flick, hit the red carpet on Friday night (April 20) at SVA Theatre in New York City.

He was joined at the event by the film’s stars Kate Micucci and Sam Huntington.

Seven Stages to Achieve Eternal Bliss follows a couple who think they find the perfect apartment in Los Angeles only to discover that it is home to the ritualistic suicides of a deranged cult.

The flick is set to hit theaters on April 20th.

Alex Pettyfer and Jennifer Morrison brought their upcoming flick Back Roads to the Tribeca Film Festival!

The co-stars stepped out at the premiere on Friday night (April 20) at Cinepolis Chelsea in New York City.

They were also joined by their cast mates Chiara Aurelia, Hala Finley and Nicola Peltz, who brought her boyfriend Anwar Hadid.

Back Roads, which was also directed by Alex, follows a young man who finds himself caring for his three younger sisters following the death of their abusive father and imprisonment of their mother for his murder.

When his life takes a dangerous turn, he finds himself the leading suspect in a local murder.

Antonio Banderas is celebrating the premiere of Genius: Picasso!

The 57-year-old actor hit the red carpet at the show’s Tribeca Film Festival premiere on Friday night (April 20) at BMCC Tribeca PAC in New York City.

He was joined by his co-stars Alex Rich, Samantha Colley, T.R. Knight and Seth Gabel.

Bryce Dallas Howard was also in attendance.

Genius: Picasso premieres on National Geographic on April 24th.

Sarah Jessica Parker looked so chic at Chanel‘s Tribeca Film Festival women’s filmmaker luncheon!

The 53-year-old actress stepped out at the event on Friday afternoon (April 20) at Odeon in New York City.

She was also joined by Zosia Mamet at the event, which invites all women involved in movies at the film fest.

During the afternoon, Sarah opened up about the importance of not disregarding men in the midst of the push for more women-centric movies.

“I don’t want to disregard men — there are really critical, important men in our industry as there are across all industries. We’ve always functioned as a majority female production company. We’re excited about female stories and storytellers, directors, producers, writers, sound mixers, production designers, editors,” Jessica told People.

She added, “But I think the place we want to get is to where all stories are important and being told, and men are included in those stories. Men play a role in our lives so if we isolate too much, we’re gonna be missing out on interesting and complex stories. I think it’s just finding ways of moving a pipeline towards job opportunities for women of all backgrounds and colors.”

The cute couple joined the film’s star Martin Freeman along with director/writer Yolanda Ramke at the screening held at the 2018 Tribeca Film Festival.

The zombie-apocalypse thriller follows Martin “who becomes stranded in rural Australia with only 48 hours to find a new home for his infant daughter, after becoming infected in the wake of a violent pandemic,” Independent reports.

Cargo is scheduled to hit Netflix on May 18.
