Aaron Carter keeps close to fiancee Melanie Martin while running errands together on Thursday (June 25) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

It looks like the engaged couple stopped by the post office to pick up some packages. They announced their engagement just a couple weeks ago and Melanie happily showed off her engagement ring to photographers. On Instagram he said that it was “spoil your fiance day.”

Aaron took to his Instagram account later that night to share a selfie he snapped with Melanie in their bathroom.

He captioned the photo, “Whatever it takes. 💍 I am her LION 🦁 Hands Off I’m off the market. #LøVëWins.” You can see the image below.

Aaron Carter is getting married!

The 32-year-old “I Want Candy” singer announced on Friday (June 12) that he and girlfriend Melanie Martin are engaged.

“Lövē wins ❤️😍💍 #iloveyou3000 #engaged #fiance #ourlovestory,” Aaron wrote on Instagram along with a photo of Melanie, 28, wearing her engagement ring.

Aaron and Melanie have been dating on and off since January. In early March, Aaron revealed that he got Melanie‘s name tattooed above his eyebrow.

News of the couple’s engagement comes just a few days after Aaron revealed that Melanie had sadly suffered a miscarriage after first announcing their pregnancy in April.

“We’re gonna give it some time, let her heal and then we’re going to try again,” Aaron said at the time. “We both want that. I gotta take care of her.”

“She suffered a miscarriage due to stress conditions,” the 32-year-old singer revealed in a live video. “We’re gonna give it some time, let her heal and then we’re going to try again. We both want that. I gotta take care of her.”

The couple announced that they were expecting back in April.

“This is what we both want. We both were trying for it. I’m just focused on the future and being a dad. I want to be a good dad. I’m focused, my music career has been doing really well, and touring, having my clothing line out, all that stuff I have going for me that isn’t necessarily just music. Family is most important to me,” Aaron said at the time.

Ahead of their pregnancy announcement, the couple were involved in some legal issues.

Aaron Carter is explaining a bit about why he decided to get face tattoos, one of which includes the name “Melanie,” the name of his ex Melanie Martin who is reportedly pregnant with his child.

When asked about the “Melanie” tattoo, Aaron threw shade, telling the Hollywood Raw Podcast, “That says ‘mistake,’ that’s not Melanie. I’m getting blown up every single second right now while I’m on with you guys from her saying please give me another chance. blah blah blah.”

He then explained why he likes getting face tattoos, saying, “I got tattoos to make me look tough because I was so scrawny as a defense mechanism. The medusa on my face means ‘Don’t look at me the wrong way or this bitch is going to turn you into stone.’ Stop click-baiting me.”

“You know what, I’ve always talked about getting face tattoos and honestly I always get tattoos knowing the intention that I can get them removed if I want,” he continued. “They’re not permanent like everyone says…My tattoos, they started off because I was such a little kid, a scrawny little kid. I started getting tattoos all over me to make me look like I’m tough so people wouldn’t mess with me. And they stopped.”

He added, “This is my body, my life, my choices.”

Aaron Carter and Melanie Martin are expecting.

The 32-year-old singer confirmed the news via Instagram Live on Tuesday (April 21).

“Obviously I have a baby on the way,” he said after displaying what appeared to be a positive pregnancy test.

“I’m going to be a busy father for sure. This is the official announcement, we’re pregnant.”

He doubly confirmed the news in a statement to People.

“This is what we both want. We both were trying for it. I’m just focused on the future and being a dad. I want to be a good dad. I’m focused, my music career has been doing really well, and touring, having my clothing line out, all that stuff I have going for me that isn’t necessarily just music. Family is most important to me,” he said.

Last month, Melanie was arrested and released on bond on suspicion of felony domestic violence.
