Connie Britton shared an important message while at the 2018 Golden Globes!

The 50-year-old actress hit the red carpet in a sweater reading “poverty is sexist” ahead of the award ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on Sunday (January 7) in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Connie‘s sweater is a nod to Bono‘s ONE Campaign movement, which seeks to level the playing field for women and men in economically disadvantaged communities.

She was also joined at the event by Maggie Gyllenhaal, Isabelle Huppert, Geena Davis and Abbie Cornish, who all wore black to take part in the Time’s Up movement.

Tune in for the Golden Globes on Sunday (January 7), hosted by Seth Meyers, at 8pm EST/5pm PST on NBC.

Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman received nods from their home of Australia during the AACTA International Awards!

The two Aussie actors both received nominations at the award ceremony on Friday night (January 5) at Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles

Nicole and Hugh both hit the red carpet ahead of the ceremony and posed for pictures before heading inside.

While Nicole won the award for Best Supporting Actress, Hugh was nominated for Best Lead Actor.

They were also joined at the event by Abbie Cornish, Danielle MacDonald and Gary Oldman, who took home Best Lead Actor.

Kate Bosworth arrives in style for the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and InStyle’s Celebration of the 2018 Golden Globe Awards at Catch LA on Wednesday (November 15) in West Hollywood, Calif.

Abbie presented screenwriter Luke Davies (Lion, Candy) with the Fox Studios Australia International Award for achieving excellence internationally. The Screen Australia Breakthrough Award went to Danielle and Katherine.

Gerard Butler looks like he’s doing just fine after his motorcycle accident this weekend!

The 47-year-old actor stepped out at the premiere of Geostorm on Monday night (October 16) at TCL Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

He was also joined by his co-stars Abbie Cornish and Jim Sturgess.

Gerard was taken to the hospital after being cut off by a car over the weekend, but on the carpet, Gerard was upbeat and spotted goofing off with Jim.

We’re glad to see Gerard doing well despite his accident!

At the panel, showrunner Carlton Cuse spoke about representation on the show.

“We tried on this show to not just have a bad guy who is a terrorist, but a variety of Muslim characters across the spectrum, and some very heroic characters,” Carlton said. He continued that filming in Morocco was “really tremendous,” with very “kind, generous, warm, helpful, talented people who worked on the show and invited us into their homes.”
