Fox Cancels 'Ghosted' After One Season

Ghosted is unfortunately off the air for good.

Fox has canceled the comedy after one season, Variety confirmed on Thursday (June 28).

The series, which premiered last fall, co-starred Adam Scott, Craig Robinson and Amber Stevens West.

The Tom Gormican-created series followed Craig and Adam as polar opposite partners hunting down ghosts, and also co-starred Ally Walker and Adeel Akhtar.

Beyond Ghosted, Adam is set to co-star in the upcoming second season of Big Little Lies. Craig is doing voicework for several movies coming up, including The Ark and the Aardvark and The Voyage of Doctor Doolittle.

Adam Scott Gives an Update on Aziz Ansari

Aziz Ansari has kept a low profile for the past two months after being accused of sexual misconduct and the actor’s friend Adam Scott is sharing an update on him.

Back in January, a woman claimed she had the “worst night” of her life during a date with Aziz, in which she felt uncomfortable when things escalated quickly at his apartment.

In a new interview with Vulture, Adam, who starred on Parks and Recreation with Aziz, gave an update about how he’s doing.

“I don’t know what to say on the record about Aziz. I don’t want to say anything that could be misconstrued,” Adam said. “I’ll say this: Aziz is doing great. He’s a great, lovely guy. How’s that?”

The upcoming Max Winkler-directed movie is a darkly comic take on a John Hughes coming-of-age film.

Here’s a plot summary: rebellious, quick-witted Erica Vandross (Deutch) is a 17-year-old firecracker living with her single mom Laurie (Kathryn Hahn) and mom’s new boyfriend Bob (Tim Heidecker) in L.A.’s San Fernando Valley. When Bob’s mentally unbalanced son Luke (Joey Morgan) arrives from rehab to live with the family, Erica finds her domestic and personal life overwhelmed. With Luke and her sidekicks Kala (Dylan Gelula) and Claudine (Maya Eshet) in tow, Erica acts out by exposing a dark secret of high-school teacher Will (Adam Scott), with perilous results; their teenage kicks become a catalyst for growing up in unexpected and unpredictable ways.

Flower hits theaters on March 16 in New York and Los Angeles, and expands nationwide on March 23.
