Adam Scott will be returning to the cast of Big Little Lies for the upcoming second season!
The 44-year-old actor played the role of Reese Witherspoon‘s husband Ed Mackenzie in the first season and he is joining the rest of the cast for the new episodes.
Ed “will be forced to confront major challenges in his marriage to Madeline in season two,” according to THR.
Meryl Streep is a new addition to the cast. She will play the role of Mary Louise Wright, the mother to Perry (Alexander Skarsgard).
Natalie Portman, Viola Davis, and Scarlett Johansson speak to a crowd of half a million people at the 2018 Women’s March on Saturday morning (January 20) in Los Angeles.
Some of the other speakers included Elizabeth Banks, Lupita Nyong’o, and Adam Scott. Frozen‘s Idina Menzel performed “Defying Gravity” from her hit musical Wicked.
Among the celebs spotted marching included Nicole Richie, Olivia Munn, and former Desperate Housewives co-stars Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman.
“I am speaking today not just for the #MeToos, because I am a #MeToo. When I raise my hand it’s for all the women who are still in silence, the women who are faceless,” Viola said during her speech.

There was a mini Parks and Recreation reunion last night in Los Angeles!
Adam Scott took to Twitter to share a photo of himself sitting with former co-stars and married couple Nick Offerman and Megan Mullally!
“At the Survivor finale, no idea who these two people are. If you are reading this and are one of those two people, please leave me alone,” Adam jokingly captioned the below selfie.
Adam played Ben Wyatt alongside Nick as Ron Swanson in the NBC comedy series that ran from 2009 to 2015.
Megan played Nick‘s on-again/off-again wife Tammy Swanson on Parks & Rec in several guest appearances.

On being comfortable always playing the punch line: “I went through a long and fruitful overweight-awkward stage, and I got teased. I had a taste-well, more than a taste- I was kind of living in that space for a while. That’s the kind of thing that shapes you.”
On becoming a hipster-nerd sex icon [after Parks & Recreation]: “When that stuff first started happening, I was hyperaware of it. But as it continued, I grew more and more weary of it. I can only imagine if I’d had any success when I was 19 or 20. That would have surly gone to my head.”
On what he was doing during the Glamour phone interview: “I have to get to work, and I am the last one in the house, so I have to put the dog in the kitchen. Then we have this, like, smoothie delivery service, so I’m putting a bunch of them in the freezer for my wife. I am also trying to set the alarm so I can get out of here.”
