Now, he’s clarifying that he actually has a “life pact.”
“We have a LIFE pact. We love life so much,” he told USA Today. “What I was meaning was that because we’re almost always together, at home and on the road, that if something did happen to either of us, we’d most likely be together at the time. But neither of us has a suicide pact. We have a life pact.”
Sheryl, 61, and Alice, 71, married in 1976 and have three kids together: Calico, 38, Dashiell, 34, and Sonora, 27.
“We are going to go together. We’ve made a pact – there is no way of surviving without each other,” he revealed to the Mirror.
“I couldn’t live without her. We always said there will never be a time when one of us will be mourning the other. Whenever it does happen, we are going to go together,” he went on to say.
Alice and Sheryl got married in March of 1976. Sheryl briefly filed for divorce in 1983, but the couple reconciled by 1984.

The 56-year-old entertainer and his bandmates – Joe Perry and Alice Cooper – rocked out on outdoor stage to play two songs, a cover David Bowie‘s “Heroes” and their very own “I Want My Now.”
“I Want My Now” serves as the opening track on the group’s new album Rise, which is set to be released tomorrow (June 21st). The 16-track album, produced by Tommy Henriksen, is the second full-length effort from the band – You can pre-save it here!
“Rise is not only a totally different animal than the first Vampires album, it is unique to anything I’ve ever been a part of,” Cooper said in a statement. “I approached it very differently than I usually do when working on an album. Each of us; Joe, Johnny, Tommy and myself have written songs on this album. What is different though is that I didn’t try to change any songs to be more ‘Alice-like.’”
