In honor of National Geographic’s exclusive World Bee Day interview with Angelina Jolie, the famed magazine released this amazing new photo!

The 45-year-old actress, director, and humanitarian said to the mag, “With so much we are worried about around the world and so many people feeling overwhelmed with bad news and the reality of what is collapsing, this is one that we can manage. We can certainly all step in and do our part.”

“I don’t think a lot of people know what damage they’re doing. A lot of people are just trying to get through their day,” she added. “They want to do good. They don’t want to be destructive. They don’t know which thing to buy. They don’t know which thing to use. So I think part of this is wanting to help it be simple for everybody, because I need that.”

“I have six kids and a lot happening and I don’t know how to be the ‘perfect’ anything. And so if we can help each other to say, ‘This is a way forward, simple, and this is something you can do with your kids,’” she added.

Angelina Jolie is joking about single life!

The 45-year-old Oscar-winning actress opened up in a new interview with E! News while promoting her film Those Who Wish Me Dead, which hits theaters and HBO Max on May 14.

Angelina was asked about how she raises a family of six children.

“I have six very capable children,” Angelina said. “Of course you wake up and you just feel like, ‘I’ve got to make sure they’re OK. I’ve got to make sure they’re mentally OK,’ but honestly I think a few years ago it switched and they’re thinking, ‘I’ve got to make sure mom’s OK.’”

“We’re such a team so I am very, very lucky,” she added. “I’m always the one who worries but I don’t worry about them. They’re cool people.”

Angelina Jolie is opening up about how she connected to her role in her upcoming film, Those Who Wish Me Dead.

In an interview with Access, the 45-year-old shared that she related to Hannah Faber and it’s closer than you probably thought.

“I felt a little beaten up in my own life, as we all do at times, and I felt like I wasn’t holding myself together and I felt a little broken and the idea of just getting through the fire – just getting through the damn fire,” Angelina shared.

She added that “Whatever it takes, with everything coming at you, get through it, so when you feel that way as a person and you have the great opportunity to have a piece of art that you can manifest that experience and that growth through a character.”

“Quite literally, we go through that fire and it’s hot and it’s hard…when we got to the other end it did really feel like we’d done something.”

Angelina previously spoke about the change in her family situation, refencing her divorce from Brad Pitt, that prompted her to take on more on-screen roles.

Those Who Wish Me Dead will be out on May 14 on HBO Max.

Angelina Jolie is opening up about her career and the main reason for her getting in front of the camera once again.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the 45-year-old explained that while directing is still a passion of hers, she stepped back in front of the camera because of “a change in my family situation.”

Angelina shared, “I love directing, but I had a change in my family situation that’s not made it possible for me to direct for a few years.”

“I needed to just do shorter jobs and be home more, so I kind of went back to doing a few acting jobs. That’s really the truth of it,” she added about the on-screen roles which include upcoming drama Those Who Wish Me Dead and Marvel’s The Eternals.

Angelina has been going through a divorce and custody battles with Brad Pitt for five years.

Last month, their son, Maddox, reportedly testified against Brad.

Angelina‘s character, Hannah, treks through the wilderness in order to protect him. The movie also stars Finn Little, Nicholas Hoult, Aidan Gillen, Jon Bernthal, and Tyler Perry.

Angelina told People, “On its surface, the story feels like a thriller, with a lot of really interesting characters and a great adventure across unusual terrain, inside a great fire. But, underneath, it’s an emotional film about people who are thrown together to survive.”

The movie is directed by Oscar nominee Taylor Sheridan, best known for his work on the screenplay for Hell or High Water. The cast also includes Nicholas Hoult and Tyler Perry. Look for the film in theaters and on HBO Max on May 14, 2021.
