The Goldfinch has released a new trailer, which you can watch right here!

The upcoming John Crowley-directed film based on the best-selling Donna Tartt novel, which stars Ansel Elgort and Nicole Kidman, released the latest teaser on Tuesday (July 24).

Here’s a plot summary: Theodore “Theo” Decker was 13 years old when his mother was killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. The tragedy changes the course of his life, sending him on a stirring odyssey of grief and guilt, reinvention and redemption, and even love. Through it all, he holds on to one tangible piece of hope from that terrible day…a painting of a tiny bird chained to its perch. The Goldfinch.

Ansel Elgort gets some direction from Steven Spielberg on the set of West Side Story on Tuesday night (July 23) in New York City.

The 25-year-old actor, who will play Tony in the movie, was seen shooting night scenes along with Mike Faist, who plays Jets leader Riff in the movie.

Ariana DeBose, who plays Anita, was spotted filming a colorful musical dance scene just a few days ago, too.

West Side Story is set to hit theaters on December 18th, 2020.

There are four actors who are in the running to play Elvis Presley in an upcoming film about the legendary entertainer, to be directed by Baz Luhrmann.

The Moulin Rouge and Great Gatsby director is working on a biopic about the singer and actor, but not much is known about the project. The film is not based on any source material and Luhrmann wrote a new script with his writing partner Craig Pearce.

Ansel Elgort, Harry Styles, Austin Butler, and Miles Teller are said to be the four stars who are frontrunners to land the role, according to Deadline. TheWrap also reports that Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in contention.

Tom Hanks is in talks to play Elvis’ manager Colonel Tom Parker.

The picture features the following cast members: Anybodys (Ezra Menas), Mouthpiece (Ben Cook), Action (Sean Harrison Jones), Jets leader Riff (Mike Faist), Baby John (Patrick Higgins), Tony (Ansel Elgort) and Maria (Rachel Zegler), Maria’s brother and Sharks leader Bernardo (David Alvarez), and Sharks members Quique (Julius Anthony Rubio), Chago (Ricardo Zayas), Chino (Josh Andrés Rivera), Braulio (Sebastian Serra) and Pipo (Carlos Sánchez Falú).

The cast also includes Ariana DeBose (Anita), Ana Isabelle (Rosalia), Corey Stoll (Lieutenant Schrank), Brian d’Arcy James (Officer Krupke), Curtiss Cook (Abe) and Academy Award®-winner Rita Moreno, who plays Valentina and also serves as one of the film’s executive producers.

The movie will hit theaters on December 18, 2020.

Ansel Elgort is heading to TV!

The 25-year-old actor has signed on to star in the upcoming Tokyo Vice, which will be available on WarnerMedia’s streaming service.

The crime thriller series, which has already received a 10-epiosde straight-to-series pickup, marks Ansel‘s first TV project.

Tokyo Vice is based on the non-fiction book by Jake Adelstein that details the author’s first-hand account of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police beat, detailing his daily descent into the neon-soaked, according to WarnerMedia.

Ansel will be portraying Jake Adelstein, the American journalist who embeds himself in the Tokyo Vice police department to reveal corruption.

Nicole Kidman looks a little annoyed in this first footage from her upcoming movie, The Goldfinch.

The 25-year-old actor posted 17 photos without any explanation or captions. We don’t think any of his fans are complaining though.

Ansel‘s girlfriend Violetta Komyshan commented on one of the pics and said, “I think this one is the best but they’re all pretty good tbh.” You can see that one HERE.
