Gabby Barrett goes glam for the 2021 Billboard Music Awards held at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday (May 23) in Los Angeles.

The 21-year-old country starlet was joined by her musician husband, Cade Foehner, at the event, where she is nominated for several awards.

Gabby is up for Top New Artist, Top Country Artist, Top Country Female Artist, Top Country Album, Top Hot 100 Song, Top Selling Song, Top Radio Song, Top Collaboration and Top Country Song.

While she lost out to Top Country Artist and Top Country Album, Gabby did pick up Top Collaboration and Top Country Song for “I Hope” featuring Charlie Puth.

Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are enjoying a night out!

The American Idol couple, and new parents, posed together on the red carpet at the 2021 Academy of Country Music Awards held on Sunday (April 18) at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tenn.

This is the first public outing for the couple after welcoming their daughter Baylah back in January.

Gabby and Cade met while they both were competing on American Idol and got married in October 2019.

Gabby is nominated tonight for New Female Artist of the Year and Single of the Year for her song “I Hope.” You can check out all of the nominations here!

The 2021 ACM Awards are airing RIGHT NOW on CBS and Paramount+.

Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are parents!

The American Idol alumni and married couple have welcomed their first child together last week on January 18 they revealed on Instagram.

“Baylah May Foehner,” Cade announced the baby girl’s name with a photo on social media. “The Lord Jesus has given me so much that I scarce can believe it. Not only to be saved from sin because of His Gospel but to also be given a Wife who is not only my best friend in the whole wide world but who also has bore me a child.”

He added, “I am a blessed man beyond my understanding.”

Cade also commented on Gabby‘s Instagram post with the same image, writing, “What an honor to be your husband. Thank you for bearing me a child my Wife!”

Gabby and Cade announced they were expecting last year, after tying the knot in 2019.

The couple were just recently seen at the 2020 CMA Awards together.

Also walking the carpet was Charlie Puth, who will be performing alongside Gabby during the show. They will do their hit song “I Hope” and this marks their first time performing it together.

Gabby is nominated tonight for New Artist of the Year and her song is up for Single of the Year.

Last month, Gabby won a special award at the CMT Music Awards and a very cool person presented it to her – virtually of course!

Gabby Barrett sits down while performing at the 2020 Academy of Country Music Awards, which aired on Wednesday (September 16).

The 20-year-old singer performed her hit song “I Hope” with accompaniment from her husband Cade Foehner at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tenn.

Gabby and Cade met while competing on American Idol in 2018 and they got married in 2019. They now are expecting their first child together. Their daughter is expected to arrive in early 2021.

“I Hope” has become a rare country song to rise on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and it recently became a Top 10 hit.

Gabby recently became the first woman to have a solo song in the Hot 100′s Top 10 that also charted on the Hot Country Songs chart since when Taylor Swift achieved the feat in 2012 with “Red.”

Gabby Barrett and Cade Foehner are expecting!

The American Idol alums, who met during their run on Season 16 of the show in 2018 and wed in 2019, are expecting their first child together, People confirmed Sunday (August 16).

“We are very excited. The Lord has blessed us with a little one, and we’re really excited to finally be able to share the news with everybody and just have a big old family celebration about it,” Gabby said to the outlet.

The two are expecting a daughter, due early in 2021.

“I get to have two Gabbys! Ones not enough,” Cade said.

“[We're going to] create a culture of Jesus Christ around our kids and show how we are to live in accordance with his lordship over the Earth,” he explained of their family.

“We were in Texas visiting Cade‘s side of his family. And it’s funny, because I did not think that I was. Around lunchtime, I remember taking the test and my eyes nearly crossed! I was like, ‘Wait, is that two lines?’ I came running out to Cade and was just like, ‘Oh my gosh, I think I am.’ That’s all that I said, and he knew what that meant. I started crying, and it was very sweet,” Gabby explained of finding out she was pregnant.

She also revealed that it has been “challenging in a way of it not being normally how it goes” amid the pandemic.

“I have to go to some appointments, unfortunately, without my husband, which is really sad. But I mean, if that’s what keeps the baby safe, then that’s what we’re going to do. We’ve just been trying to find ways to really work with it, because that’s all we can do at this point.”

She also revealed her current craving: “I am very much into that salty-vinegar taste, that tart kind of bitter taste.”

Congratulations are in order for one American Idol couple!

Singers Cade Foehner and Gabby Barrett got married on Saturday (October 5) in Garrison, Texas, People reports.

“I spent a lot of time [in Texas] this summer with his family — it’s a great place to get off the grid and relax,” Gabby told People. “The venue is in a neat little private area down some dirt roads, which totally fits our style.”

“Texas is such a perfect backdrop for the start of our marriage,” she added. “The setting of our wedding in the woods really influenced the décor and feel of our big day.”

Fellow Idol alum Caleb Lee Hutchinson served as a groomsman, and Catie Turner was also in attendance!

Cade and Gabby met while competing on American Idol in it’s comeback season, and became engaged in March 2019!
