Stephen Amell and Yael Cohen Braun speak on stage while accepting their awards at the Barbara Berlanti Heroes Gala Benefitting F Cancer on Saturday (October 13) at Warner Bros. Studio in Burbank, Calif.

Stephen was honored with the Hero Award for his exceptional work raising funds and awareness for F Cancer. Yael, one of the co-founders of the organization, was honored with the Barbara Berlanti Vanguard Award for her groundbreaking work educating young adults on the important of early detection.

Stephen was joined at the event by his wife Cassandra Jean and his mom Sandra, who is a two-time cancer survivor. He began working with F Cancer seven years ago during his mom’s second battle with cancer and helped the organization grow to where it is today. His CW family members Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker, and Maisie Richardson-Sellers all stepped out to show support, as did friend Aisha Tyler.

Yael, who is pregnant with her third child, was joined by husband Scooter Braun, who got her favorite comedian Trevor Noah to do a surprise set to close out the night.

Stephen Amell‘s real life wife Cassandra Jean is joining the Arrowverse for the annual DC crossover event!

She’ll play villain Nora Fries, who is the wife of Mr. Freeze, another villain in the universe, Deadline reports.

The three night event will take place on The CW beginning with The Flash on Sunday (December 9) Arrow on Monday (December 10) and Supergirl on Tuesday (December 11).

Cassandra has previously held roles on Hart of Dixie, Mad Men and One Tree Hill, and more.

The 37-year-old Arrow star and the Texas beauty pageant queen were seen leaving the Chiltern Firehouse on Tuesday (May 29) in London, England.

Stephen will star in the upcoming sci-fi film Code 8, about a desperate young man possessing special powers clashes with a militarized police force after committing a petty crime.

Stephen also recently celebrated the birthday of Andrew Harding, one of his best friends, on his social media: “Happy birthday to my best buddy in the whole world,” he wrote.

The 36-year-old Arrow actor is in town with family and friends for early celebrations for his 37th birthday, which is on May 8.

Stephen was joined by his on-screen wife Emily Bett Rickards and friend Aisha Tyler on Friday while celebrating at the Fillies & Stallions party hosted by Patron and Black Rock Thoroughbreds.

“@ted_baker making all my Derby red carpet dreams come true, per usual,” Cassandra wrote on Instagram with photos from the Friday night event.

Stephen Amell used to be a Coachella hater but his wife Cassandra totally changed his opinion!

The 35-year-old actor took to his Instagram to explain that he always poked fun at the festival that Cassandra loved.

“Ever since we met in late 2011, my Wife has raved – no pun intended – about Coachella. I decided – in a semi joking way – that I was going to hate it for no reason whatsoever. And I’d poke fun at her when the set list was released and she’d get excited,” he began.

Stephen went on to explain that while Cassandra continued to go to the festival, he stayed home, until he realized that’s not what a marriage means.

He continued, “Then last year during Coachella, something felt different. She was at our house, with our friends, doing something she loves…without me. That’s not how a marriage / friendship / partnership should work. If your Wife (or whatever) loves something, you should love it too.”
