'Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul' Performers & Host Revealed!

Aretha Franklin is getting a superstar tribute!

The late Queen of Soul will be honored by CBS, the Recording Academy, AEG Ehrlich Ventures and Clive Davis with Aretha! A GRAMMY Celebration for the Queen of Soul.

The special will include performances from Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, Alessia Cara, Kelly Clarkson, Common, Celine Dion, Jennifer Hudson, Alicia Keys, John Legend, Patti LaBelle, BeBe Winans, Brandi Carlile, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe and SZA.

Tyler Perry will host the night, with more performances to be announced in the coming weeks.

The live concert taping is on January 13, 2019, at 6:00 p.m. PT at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles and will be broadcast later in 2019 on CBS. For ticket information, click here.

Yalitza Aparicio & Marina de Tavira Bring 'Roma' to Los Angeles

Yalitza Aparicio and Marina de Tavira looked stunning while stepping out for the premiere of Roma!

The co-stars in the highly anticipated film hit the carpet on Monday night (December 10) at American Cinematheque’s Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.

Other attendees included Diego Boneta, Molly Sims, Karla Souza and Common.

The film, directed by Alfonso Cuaron, is already getting major award show buzz.

Roma chronicles a year in the life of a middle-class family in Mexico City in the early 1970s and its based partially on writer and director Alfonso‘s childhood.

Roma is now out in limited theaters and hits Netflix on December 14th.

Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis couple up on the red carpet at a screening of If Beale Street Could Talk on Tuesday night (December 4) at the ArcLight Theater in Hollywood, Calif.

The longtime couple stepped out in style as they arrived at the screening of the highly-anticipated new movie.

Stars of the film Kiki Layne, Stephan James, Brian Tyree Henry, Finn Wittrock, and Dave Franco stepped out for the screening alongside director Barry Jenkins.

Common, Kumail Nanjiani and wife Emily V. Gordon, Ashley Bell, and Topher Grace were also in attendance at the event.

The movie is set to be released in a limited capacity on December 14 with a wide release planned for Christmas Day. Check out the trailer here!

Common happily flashes a smile with Serena Williams by his side while attending their Creative Minds Talk- The Art of Storytelling: Serena Williams & Common at the Civic Opera House on Monday (October 29) in Chicago, Ill.

“So excited to be joining @common on stage in Chicago for a Creative Minds Talk on Oct. 29 at the Lyric Opera House! #creativemindstalks,” the 37-year-old tennis pro tweeted.

Gerard Butler suited up for the premiere of Hunter Killer!

The 48-year-old actor stepped out at the event on Monday (October 22) at the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum in New York City.

While on the carpet, he posed alongside members of the Royal Navy. He was also joined by his co-stars Zane Holtz, Michael Trucco, Ryan McPartlin and Common.

The movie follows an untested American submarine captain who teams with U.S. Navy Seals to rescue the Russian president, who has been kidnapped by a rogue general.

Sarah Jessica Parker's Movie 'Here & Now' Debuts Official Trailer

The trailer for Sarah Jessica Parker‘s upcoming movie Here and Now has arrived!

The film features a star-studded cast that also includes Simon Baker, Common, Taylor Kinney, Jacqueline Bisset, and Renee Zellweger.

Here is the synopsis: Vivienne (Parker), is an established singer/songwriter with a successful music career. On the eve of a major performance, Vivienne receives some life-altering news that causes her to reevaluate her priorities. As she crisscrosses the busy streets of New York City, she tries to balance her upcoming music tour, family, and friends. With the support of her overbearing mother, Jeanne (Bisset), her long-time manager, Ben (Common), and her ex-husband, Nick (Baker), Vivienne strives to make peace with the decisions and sacrifices she’s made along the way.

Here and Now will be released in theaters, on demand, and on digital HD on November 9.

Amandla Stenberg Joins 'The Hate U Give' Cast at NYC Screening

Amandla Stenberg walks the red carpet with her co-stars at the screening of their movie The Hate U Give on Thursday (October 4) at the Paris Theatre in New York City.

The 19-year-old actress was joined by Regina Hall, Common, Russell Horsnby, Algee Smith, Sabrina Carpenter, and Lamar Johnson. The book’s writer Angie Thomas was also there!

The Hate U Give is getting rave reviews and it currently has a 95% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Amandla is getting a lot of love from critics, including this line from Rolling Stone: “It is impossible to over-praise Stenberg’s incandescent performance, a gathering storm that grows in ferocity and feeling with each scene. Stenberg nails every nuance of a role that keeps throwing challenges at her.”

Make sure to see the movie when it hits theaters in limited release this weekend and nationwide on October 19.
