The X-Files reboot just released a 21 minute behind the scenes look at the upcoming new episodes!

In the lengthy video, we get a look into the current lives of Mulder (David Duchovny) and Scully (Gillian Anderson). The video also introduces Muldy and Scully’s son William.

“I can imagine what that must be like as a fan,” Gillian comments in the BTS video. “You see these familiar faces and the familiar crossbeams of light coming out of the darkness and hear that soundtrack.”

Look out for the six new episodes of the series, beginning January 24 on Fox!

David Duchovny visits the SiriusXM Studios at The X-Files panel during 2015 New York Comic-Con held at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center on Saturday (October 10) in New York City.

The 55-year-old actor was joined by co-stars Mitch Pileggi and Kumail Nanjiani.

During the panel, one of the show’s new episodes debuted!

“The dynamic of the characters was often unspoken. There would be dramatic moments where one would save the other or call them by their first name rather than their last, and that would have to satisfy some kind of longing,” David said during the panel. “But it’s still the same. I don’t think anyone wants to see Mulder and Scully bickering over a toothpaste tube or leaving the toilet seat up, the show is about the cases.”

The full trailer for the upcoming revival of the beloved series The X-Files has been released!

Fox has reunited David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson as Mulder and Scully for the six-episode event series, which kicks off with a two-night event on Sunday, January 24.

The upcoming event series will encompass a mixture of stand-alone episodes and those that further the original show’s seminal mythology. In the opening episode, Mulder and Scully take on a case of a possible alien abductee.

Joel McHale, Robbie Amell, Lauren Ambrose, and more will appear as guest stars!

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny are back as Mulder and Scully in the first two trailer for The X-Files revival!

The trailer came in two separate parts which aired on Monday (September 28) during Gotham and Minority Report.

“Our work is the key. I can’t do this alone alone,” Mulder tells Scully in one of the trailers.

The series is set to debut in a two part event on January 24 and January 25, 2016.

Joel McHale, Robbie Amell, and Lauren Ambrose are also featured in the reboot.

David Duchovny looks all beaten up while filming on the set of the X-Files reboot on Tuesday (September 1) in Vancouver, Canada.

Also seen on set that day was Gillian Anderson, who wore a crisp blue suit.

The show has been filming for almost three months and just wrapped up production!

“That’s a wrap on #XFiles Season 10! See you on January 24th! @davidduchovny @RobbieAmell @thexfiles” Gillian wrote on her Twitter account.

“Leaving the couve and x ’twas a great stay see y’all soon,” David wrote on his account.

David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson are back as Mulder and Scully in the first footage from the upcoming The X-Files revival series!

The series will return to the small screen after nearly thirteen and a half years this January for six new episodes. It will premiere after the NFC Championship Game on Sunday, January 24 on Fox.

While we don’t yet know a lot of details about the series, it was recently announced that Joel McHale will be guest starring and that Mitch Pileggi and William B. Davis will return in their roles as Walter Skinner and The Smoking Man, respectively.

Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny rock suits on the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly, which is out on newsstands on Friday, July 3.

In the issue, the 46-year-old actress opened up on why she was wearing a wig while shooting the X-Files reboot.

“My hair started falling out last year,” Gillian shared about her locks, which went through tons of colors and styles for her other show The Fall. “We were in the middle of doing The Fall and they actually had to stop using tongs and hot rollers because it was literally coming out in the hair dresser’s hand.”

Gillian added, “So yeah, unfortunately, it is a wig. Oh my God, it’s like wearing a vice on your head.”
