The show is up for TV Show of 2018, Male TV Star of 2018 for Harry, Female TV Star of 2018 for Katherine, Bingeworthy Show of 2018, and Sci-Fi/Fantasy Show of 2018.

What is super cool about these nominations is that the Shadowhunters fans used the write-in ballots to get their show on the nominee list!

The cast of the Freeform series just wrapped production on the the third season, which will be the final one. Fans have been campaigning all summer long in hopes of getting the show renewed for a fourth season.

The show has seven nominations, including Choice Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show. Katherine, Dominic, Emeraude, and Matthew all have individual acting nominations, Anna is up for Choice TV Villain, and Matthew and Harry are up for Choice TV Ship.

The Freeform series Shadowhunters has been canceled after three seasons, but there is a little bit of good news too.

The upcoming 10-episode season has wrapped production, but the cast will film two more episodes to wrap the storyline in the series and end the show properly for fans.

The third season of the series will follow the fourth and fifth books in the Mortal Instruments series and the two-hour finale will cover the sixth and final book, according to Deadline.

“We are very proud of Shadowhunters, a series that broke new ground in the genre world and became a fan favorite,” Freeform said in a statement. “However, along with our partners at Constantin, we reached the very difficult decision not to renew the show for a fourth season. But as big supporters and fans ourselves, Freeform insisted on and championed the filming of a special two-part finale that would give devoted fans a proper ending. The twelve episodes will air in spring of 2019. We want to thank our talented creators, producers, cast and crew along with our colleagues at Constantin for their hard work and dedication and to Cassie Clare for her incredible book series. We look forward to the final chapter of this breakthrough drama.”

Dominic Sherwood is apologizing for using an offensive and inappropriate gay slur in Matthew Daddario‘s Facebook live earlier today.

The 27-year-old Shadowhunters star took to Instagram on Tuesday (November 28) to share three videos apologizing for saying the slur.

“I’m speaking to all of you today to hold myself accountable and not to make any excuses in any way,” Dominic begins in the video alongside Matt. “The way I behaved today was disgusting and horrible.”

In Matt‘s live stream, Dominic said “sup f-g” before Matt quickly reprimanded him for saying it and quickly ended the stream.

“I think so many problematic phrases go unchallenged and they perpetrate negativity and hate and intolerance and today I was apart of that,” Dominic continued. “I just want to say that I am deeply sorry to all of you and all of my castmates and I’m sorry for disappointing you.”

Longtime couple Sarah Hyland and Dominic Sherwood have split after two years of dating, a new report suggests.

A source told ET that the couple, who met on the set of Vampire Academy, have decided to part ways.

The source adds that “Hyland and Sherwood will remain friends, but notes that their relationship has simply ran its course.”

Just recently, Sarah guest starred on Dominic‘s show, Shadowhunters, as The Seelie Queen; and he guest starred on Modern Family as well.


Sarah has just started filming on season 9 of Modern Family.

Sarah Hyland definitely has a great sense of humor.

The 26-year-old Modern Family actress took to her Instagram to share what she wants for Christmas.

“All I want for Christmas is….. to be able to eat all the pizza in the world and still have abs without having to workout…. oh yeah and you 😉❤️ @domsherwood,” she jokingly captioned a photo with her boyfriend Dominic Sherwood.

The couple met on the set of their movie Vampire Academy and have been together for almost two years now.
