Chris Pratt & Elizabeth Banks Bring 'Lego Movie's Emmet & Lucy Back To Life For COVID-19 Safety Video

Chris Pratt and Elizabeth Banks are back in action as their characters Emmet and Lucy from The LEGO Movie.

The two stars teamed up with LEGO for a new safety video for young kids that explains the coronavirus and safety points to follow along with.

Emmet and Lucy even come up with a song “that will help you remember the very best ways to stay healthy.”

The PSA was conceptualized, produced and animated by Pure Imagination in a matter of weeks, entirely remotely, using their resources in Los Angeles and their animation studio in Trivandrum, India (Zebu Animation).

Elizabeth Banks Shares List of Fun Things To Do For Parents Staying Home With Their Kids During Coronavirus School Closures

Elizabeth Banks has provided a small list of fun things to do with your kids, while they’re home during the school closures because of coronavirus.

The 46-year-old filmmaker posted the list on her Instagram as a resource for all parents who will be staying with their kids.

“Home with the kids and need activities? Started a scavenger hunt w friends. To be presented via FaceTime. Here is the list. We also have 3 tasks: draw a portrait of another family member, create a secret handshake and build a tower out of anything that measures 4 feet. Have fun, stay safe and healthy,” she writes.

Elizabeth added, “Hope this helps some parents out there. 😘 leave other ideas in the comments! #covid_19 #familyisolation.”

On top of Elizabeth‘s fun list, Scholastic also announced their Learn At Home program.

The program features “four separate learning experiences, each built around a thrilling, meaningful story or video” and kids can learn solo, with their siblings, or parent, too.

Earlier today, Harvey Weinstein was found guilty of committing a criminal sexual act and third-degree rape and celebrities are reacting to it on social media.

The charges and verdict come almost two years after the former producer was accused of sexual harassment, assault or rape.

Ashley Judd was one of the first to react to the verdict, writing, “For the women who testified in this case, and walked through traumatic hell, you did a public service to girls and women everywhere, thank you.#ConvictWeinstein #Guilty.”

Chef Padma Lakshmi added, “Harvey Weinstein is now a convicted rapist. If there’s a man who doesn’t deserve bail, it’s him.”

“I am heartened for his victims and for all those who said #metoo and #TimesUp that some justice has been done,” Elizabeth Banks shared on her timeline.

Annabella Sciorra also reacted to Harvey‘s guilty verdict, despite being acquitted on her rape charges.

Elizabeth Banks Re-Wears Oscars Party Dress From 2004!

Elizabeth Banks is re-wearing a dress she wore to an Oscars after party over 15 years ago!

The 46-year-old actress and director stepped out in the red dress at the 2020 Vanity Fair Oscar Party on Sunday night (February 9) at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Elizabeth previously wore the Badgley Mischka gown to the same party back in 2004.

“It’s gorgeous and it fits…so why not wear it again?!” Elizabeth asked on her Instagram.

She continued, “Proud to wear my @badgleymischka dress that I first wore to @vanityfair #oscars party in 2004, re-imagined with @wendiandnicole, to bring global awareness to the importance of sustainability in fashion and consumerism as it relates to climate change, production & consumption, ocean pollution, labor & women.”

Elizabeth Banks Has a Sword Fight & Sings With the Sockapellas at Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year Ceremony

Elizabeth Banks wears a red kiss on her cheek during the Hasty Pudding Woman of the Year honors on Friday (January 31) in Cambridge, Mass.

The 45-year-old actress and director was honored with the pretigious award, which is Hasty Pudding Theatricals’ oldest honor, and bestowed annually on performers who have made lasting and impressive contributions to the world of entertainment.

During the event, Elizabeth engaged in a sword fight, sang “Ice Ice Baby” as a member of the Sockapellas, and even reenacted her scene in Wet Hot American Summer which she takes a bite of an Impossible Burger and planted on a kiss on a Hasty Pudding cast member masquerading as Paul Rudd.

“I want to thank the Hasty Pudding Theatricals for this exceedingly fun experience today,” Elizabeth shared after the events.
