'WandaVision' Explains Why the Finale Will Leave Some Fans Disappointed

The final episode of WandaVision is premiering this Friday and the show’s director is opening up to tease what to expect.

There are so many unanswered questions that fans are hoping to have answered in episode 9. Fans also have lots of theories of what they think will happen, but director Matt Shankman is warning fans that some people might be disappointed.

“I hope that they feel like the journey was satisfying for them. I know there are so many theories out there; there will be a lot of people who will no doubt be disappointed by one theory or another,” Matt told Entertainment Weekly. “But we’re always telling this story about Wanda dealing with grief and learning how to accept that loss, and hopefully people will find that the finale is surprising but also satisfying, and that it feels inevitable because it’s the same story they’ve been watching the whole time.”

On the experience of directing WandaVision, he added, “The challenge as a director was unique. I’ll never have a job like this again. This was the job of a lifetime, to be able to draw on all of those different skillsets. But what does hold it all together is that it has a big heart. It’s a love story, it’s a story of loss, and I think that resonates even more in this crazy pandemic that we’re all trying to survive right now. I think we can all understand where Wanda’s coming from, so it helps it to resonate a little bit more.”

A second season of WandaVision is not happening as of right now, but we did find out where Wanda Maximoff will be seen next in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

'WandaVision' Finale Will Have Longest Episode Length of the Season, New Report Claims

There is only one episode left in the acclaimed television series WandaVision and new details have been revealed about the finale.

One of the only complaints about the show is how short some of the episodes have been, with some of them having a run time of less than 30 minutes.

Episode 8 was the longest episode of the series so far with a runtime of 47 minutes and a new report claims that the ninth and final episode will be the longest one of the series.

ComicBook.com reports that the finale will click in right at 50 minutes, though that will include the credits. The source for the info is a Reddit user who previously leaked accurate info about runtime for other episodes.

Marvel execs and cast members have said that the series would be a “six-hour movie” and the nine episodes will bring the show to a total runtime of just under that benchmark.

See how fans reacted to that huge moment at the end of the eighth episode.

Elizabeth Olsen Addresses Nepotism & How She Wanted to 'Carve Her Own Path'

Elizabeth Olsen might have had an easier shot at stardom than other people and she’s “very aware” of the situation.

The 32-year-old WandaVision actress is the younger sister of Full House stars and fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen.

Elizabeth made her professional acting debut in the 2011 movie Martha Marcy May Marlene after attending college at New York University. A new feature with Grazia says that “when she first started auditioning, Olsen took special care to carve her own path – one far from Full House.”

She told the mag, “Nepotism is a thing and I’m very aware of it. And of course, I’ve always wanted to do it alone.”

Elizabeth has carved an incredible career for herself so far, starring in lots of successful indie films and big blockbuster movies like the Avengers films and Godzilla.
