The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead both had panels during Comic-Con @ Home on Friday (July 24) and we learned so much news!

Fans have been waiting for the season finale of The Walking Dead ever since it was delayed to the coronavirus pandemic and the air date was finally announced.

The previously planned finale for season 10 will air on Sunday, October 4 at 9/8c and it will be immediately followed by the series premiere of the new spin-off show The Walking Dead: World Beyond.

This finale isn’t actually going to be the end of season 10 though as six more episodes have been ordered for the season. Those episodes will air in 2021. Season 11 will seemingly premiere later in 2021.

Lauren Cohan is also confirmed to return as Maggie in these upcoming episodes!

Fear the Walking Dead will return for season six on Sunday, October 11 at 9/8c. About half of the episodes were filmed before production was shut down due to COVID-19.

It was recently revealed that a storyline was deleted from The Walking Dead because it was considered to be too dark.

The cast of Fear the Walking Dead stopped by the WonderCon panel for the show on Sunday (March 31) at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.

Stars of the show Ruben Blades, Colman Domingo, Austin Amelio, Garret Dillahunt, Lennie James, Jenna Elfman, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Alexa Nisenson, Danay Garcia, and Maggie Grace all posed for photos at the event.

The show will return to AMC on June 2.

Kim Dickens, Colman Domingo, Frank Dillane, Alycia Debnam-Carey, Sam Underwood, Daniel Sharman, Dayton Callie, Mercedes Mason, and Michael Greyeyes were on hand to premiere the season three trailer for the fans in the crowd!

The second half of Fear the Walking Dead‘s third season will debut on Sunday, September 10 at 9/8c on AMC.

Season three of the hit zombie show returned tonight (June 4) with an action-packed two hour season premiere.

The Clark family was set to take off another journey with an infected invasion separated the group.

Within the first few minutes of the season premiere, fans had to say goodbye to a high-profiled character in a shocking death.

After the premiere, showrunner Dave Erickson spoke out on the character’s death.

Fear the Walking Dead airs on AMC on Sunday nights at 9/8c.

Alycia Debnam-Carey and Kim Dickens both look super chic while arriving at the Fear The Walking Dead panel held during 2016 PaleyFest at Dolby Theatre on Saturday (March 19) in Hollywood.

The ladies were joined by their co-stars Ruben Blades, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, Colman Domingo, Mercedes Mason, and Lorenzo Henrie.

“Zombies can’t swim,” executive producer Dave Erickson said during the panel (via EW). “They can wade. That’s something we experimented with when we shot the first episode. We’ve figured out the best ways to shoot water zombies. They don’t drown. They keep floating back up.”

FYI: Mercedes is wearing a Vince Camuto clutch and heels.

Fear the Walking Dead has broken cable ratings records with its series premiere on Sunday night on AMC!

The new series brought in 10.1 million viewers for the 90 minute episode, making it the most-watched launch in cable history. It’s no surprise that the network has already confirmed a 15-episode second season to follow the current six-episode first season.

Better Call Saul, the spin-off of Breaking Bad, previously set a ratings record for the network when it debuted to 6.88 million viewers earlier this year.

The Fear the Walking Dead premiere just wrapped up on the east coast and fans are buzzing about The Walking Dead companion series.

Showrunner Dave Erickson talked with THR about the premiere and about some of the questions viewers may have! Here’s what he shared (spoiler alert):

On the virus that causes humans to become walkers: “I had some big-swing pitches when Robert and I first sat down and I pitched an origin story with patient zero and he listened and just said, ‘Yeah, no. That’s not what the show is.’ There are certain things we will not have: we will never know the cause, the cure and the likelihood of Walking Dead 1 and Walking Dead 2 stories conflating is slim to none at best. That is something that has been explored in any given number of films in the genre. I can’t share what my causes were because I may go back to them – if I’m still alive in five seasons, I may try to return to it if I can get Robert in a state of mind where he’s open to such a thing. But there’s a news article from few years ago that gave me an idea that I thought would have been a nice starting point but I can save that for another show.”

On what they will call the walkers: “Right now, playing off of the idea that they think this is viral and something you can catch that’s transmitted, they start to call them ‘the infected,’ which is a nod to 28 Days Later. We don’t get into a place in the story where they’re going to start throwing names. Whether it’s biters, roamers or walkers, our characters in season one still think these people are human and sick for a big chunk of time. ‘Infected’ made story sense for us and as things evolve, we’ll come up with new names.”
