Mj Rodriguez & George Salazar Perform 'Suddenly Seymour' During GLAAD's Together in Pride Special - Watch!

Mj Rodriguez and George Salazar gave a special performance during GLAAD’s Together in Pride: You Are Not Alone special!

The actors reunited (virtually) to perform “Suddenly Seymour” from Little Shop of Horrors during the livestream, which was thrown to help raise funds for Centerlink and local LGBTQ centers affected by the ongoing health crisis.

Last fall, Mj and George played Aubrey and Seymour, respectively, in the production of Little Shop at the Pasadena Playhouse.

So far, the livestream has raised over $225,000 for the LGBTQ community centers.

Little Shop of Horrors stars Mj Rodriguez and George Salazar served as the musical guest on last night’s (October 1) episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden!

The 28-year-old Pose actress and the Be More Chill star hit the stage to give a rousing performance of the staple “Suddenly Seymour.”

Mj Rodriguez and George Salazar are playing Audrey and Seymour, respectively, in the mounting of Alan Menken and Howard Ashman‘s musical at the Pasadena Playhouse.

The Mike Donahue-helmed production of Little Shop of Horrors began performances on September 17 and will run through October 20.

Billy Porter & 'Pose' Cast Support MJ Rodriguez at 'Little Shop' Opening Night Show!

MJ Rodriguez walks the red carpet at the opening night performance of Little Shop of Horrors on Wednesday (September 25) at the Pasadena Playhouse in Pasadena, Calif.

The 28-year-old Pose actress is playing the role of Audrey in the new production and she was joined by co-stars George Salazar, Amber Riley, Kevin Chamberlin, Matthew Wilkas, and more.

MJ‘s Pose co-stars stepped out to show their support at the event! Spotted on the red carpet were Emmy winner Billy Porter, Dyllon Burnside, and Angelica Ross.

Also in the crowd were producer Janet Mock and co-stars Angel Bismark Curiel, who are dating in real life.

Performances of Little Shop of Horrors will run through October 20.

MJ Rodriguez to Lead 'Little Shop of Horrors' on the West Coast with Amber Riley & George Salazar!

A new production of the beloved musical Little Shop of Horrors is coming to the Los Angeles area and the star-studded cast was just announced.

The Pasadena Playhouse’s production will star Pose‘s MJ Rodriguez as Audrey, Broadway’s Be More Chill actor George Salazar as Seymour, and Glee‘s Amber Riley as Audrey II.

Additional casting will be announced at a later date.

The production will run from September 17 through October 20 in Pasadena, Calif. and tickets are on sale now.

Another production of Little Shop of Horrors will be running in New York City at the same time, starring Amber‘s former Glee co-star Jonathan Groff!

Ben Platt is dapper in a suit while hitting the red carpet at the 2019 Jimmy Awards held at the Minskoff Theatre on Monday (June 24) in New York City.

The 25-year-old entertainer was joined at the event by Kiss Me Kate‘s Stephanie Styles, Be More Chill‘s Jason Tam and George Salazar, Dear Evan Hansen‘s Andrew Barth Feldman, Montego Glover, Jagged Little Pill‘s Derek Klena, Mean GirlsKyle Selig and Erika Henningsen, SpongeBob SquarePantsEthan Slater, The Cher Show‘s Micaela Diamond and King Kong‘s Christiani Pitts.

The 11th annual Jimmy Awards are also known as National High School Musical Theatre Awards.

Top prizes went to Ethan Kelso, winning Best Performance by an Actor for his work as Will Bloom in Big Fish at Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts in Logan, Utah, and Ekele Ukegbu, who won Best Performance by an Actress, having played Aida in Aida at Elmont Memorial Junior-Senior High School in Nassau County, New York. Both were awarded $25,000 scholarships.

Broadway Stars Step Out for Lucille Lortel Awards, Honoring the Best of Off-Broadway!

The awards show honors outstanding achievement in Off-Broadway shows and stars from the Broadway community came out to show support.

Kiss Me Kate‘s Stephanie Styles presented an award alongside Ain’t Too Proud‘s Jeremy Pope, who was joined by co-star Ephraim Sykes.

Reeve and Eva‘s co-star Patrick Page was joined at the show by his wife, Trading SpacesPaige Davis.

Be More Chill stars Will Roland, Stephanie Hsu, and Katlyn Carlson were in attendance to support their show, as well as co-star George Salazar, who won Outstanding Featured Actor in a Musical. The show is now on Broadway!

Also in attendance were The Cher Show‘s Stephanie J. Block, To Kill a Mockingbird‘s Jeff Daniels, The Prom‘s Beth Leavel and Caitlin Kinnunen, Head Over HeelsBonnie Milligan, Beetlejuice‘s Leslie Kritzer, The Phantom of the Opera‘s Jay Armstrong Johnson, as well as Judith Light, Annaleigh Ashford, and Superhero nominee Kate Baldwin.

Broadway's 'Be More Chill' Cast Celebrates Opening Night - See Photos!

The new musical Be More Chill is now open on Broadway and the cast stepped out to celebrate following the opening night performance on Sunday (March 10) in New York City.

The show’s four leads – Jason Tam, Stephanie Hsu, Will Roland, and George Salazar – gathered for a group photo on the red carpet at the after party at Gotham Hall.

The actors were joined by their co-stars Gerard Canonico, Katlyn Carlson, Tiffany Mann, Lauren Marcus, Britton Smith, and Jason SweetTooth Williams. The show’s swings also stepped out for the party.
