Neil Patrick Harris is enjoying a quiet house!

The 47-year-old actor appeared on Ellen on Thursday (February 18) where he revealed that his 10-year-old twins, Gideon and Harper, have returned to in-person school amid the pandemic.

“Ellen, I’m free!” Neil joked to Ellen, revealing that his twins with David Burtka are back in school for the first time since March of last year.

“They’re in school all of a sudden. We’ve been in remote school since March and then the school [recently] opened up,” Neil explained. “As of last week, they were able to be [back] — with all the protocols, the masks, the six feet apart, getting tested all the time — but they’re in actual school.”

While Neil might be happy to have some quiet time now, he did admit that he misses “them so much.”

If you missed it, David recently underwent a very serious surgery.

The 46-year-old actor was joined by husband David Burtka and their 9-year-old twins Harper and Gideon as they attended the Grand Opening of New York’s Big Apple Circus on Sunday (October 27) at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Neil served as celebrity ringmaster for the grand opening.

Other stars at the circus included Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann with their kids Andrew, Amaya, and August, RHONY star Tinsley Mortimer and longtime love Scott Kluth, model Coco Rocha and kids Ioni and Iver, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Orange is the New Black actress Alysia Reiner, and Broadway star Laura Benanti.

The 46-year-old actor was joined by his husband David Burtka and their eight-year-old twins Gideon and Harper for the family night out.

The event was held to celebrate the launch of Style Kingdom, a pop-up at Bloomingdale’s that’s inspired by The Lion King. Cast member Florence Kasumba curated the pop-up and she stopped by the launch!

The next night, David hosted A Summer Night Out at the Soho Grand Hotel to share ways Capitol One rewards cards can help extend the summer.

The longtime couple brought their eight-year-old twins Gideon and Harper to the event.

“What a spectacular day. What a spectacular time. World Pride 2019 in NYC was an extraordinary experience, seeing literally millions of people spreading love and positivity,” Neil wrote on his Instagram account. “No conflict. No problems. Just love. So honored to share this with my husband @dbelicious and with our kids. Just an overwhelming outpouring of love. #grateful”

Pip’s Island is an immersive and interactive, groundbreaking family adventure and theatrical experience. The opening night event benefited Hole in the Wall Gang Camp.

David‘s husband Neil Patrick Harris took to Instagram to rave about the show. He wrote, “Congrats to @pipsisland on a spectacular opening! Run and bring your kids to an incredible immersive theatre experience that allows them to travel through different worlds and ignite self-discovery!”

Also in attendance were Jane Krakwoski and her son Bennett, as well as Younger‘s Peter Hermann with his kids Amaya and Andrew.

Nick Cannon and his 7-year-old twin Moroccan and Monroe pose with a fellow volunteer as dish out meals on Wednesday afternoon (November 21) at the Harlem Community Kitchen in New York City.

The 38-year-old former America’s Got Talent host – who is a member of Feeding America’s Entertainment Council – and his kids helped out dish out Thanksgiving to those less fortunate.

Also stepping out to volunteer at the kitchen was David Burtka and his 8-year-old twins Harper and Gideon.

Besides serving them dinner, the volunteers also helped guests shop the Food Bank pantry for fresh produce, vegetables, and other canned goods ahead of the holidays.

The 23-year-old model attended the event held at Saks Fifth Avenue on Thursday (November 1) in New York City.

She was joined by Neil Patrick Harris, husband David Burtka, their children Harper and Gideon Burtka-Harris, Olivia Palermo, Martha Hunt, Stacey Bendet, Rebecca Minkoff, and more.

The event also celebrated Eva‘s first children’s capsule collection, Juno Valentine by Janie and Jack.

Hosted on Saks’ famed 10022-SHOE floor, the celebration featured fun activities for both kids and adults, including an intimate reading with Eva, as well as custom illustrations and an Instagrammable balloon wall.

The Juno Valentine by Janie and Jack collection includes styles for both girls and boys and will be available exclusively at Janie and Jack and Saks Fifth Avenue stores starting on November 5. “Juno Valentine and The Magical Shoes” will be available at Saks Fifth Avenue and Saks.com on November 6.

FYI: Harper and Gideon are wearing wearing Janie and Jack.
