The Little Mermaid Live! is airing tonight and we’ve got all the details on the highly anticipated musical!

The star-studded show will feature lots of familiar faces, like Auli’i Cravalho and John Stamos, as it airs just before the 30th anniversary of the classic animated film.

The show will be aired in a film and live musical hybrid, with the performances being interwoven into the broadcast of the original feature film.

After months of rehearsal, the cast is finally ready to perform live for America. We’re so excited to welcome these characters in our living room!

Graham Phillips is ready to make Prince Eric a more dynamic character.

The 26-year-old Riverdale star is set to hit the stage tonight during The Little Mermaid Live! on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.

Graham recently opened up about the experience, as well as how he plans to play Prince Eric, in an interview with Playbill.

“Even though Little Mermaid is in front of a camera, it’s live, so there’s no room for pussyfooting around. You really have to commit,” he explained.

“In the film [Prince Eric]’s such a blank slate; he doesn’t even sing. Getting to learn these new songs and understand his perspective a little more was very cool,” he said.

He also said that the role has inspired him to return to theater.

“For quite a while I’ve felt like something was missing, and I’ve realized that it’s singing, so my sights are definitely set on getting back on Broadway. I’ve been missing it for a long time.”

John Stamos joins Auli’i Cravalho on the blue carpet at the premiere event for The Little Mermaid Live! in Los Angeles on Monday (November 4).

The two stars met up with their co-stars, Graham Phillips, Shaggy and Amber Riley for the event, ahead of the premiere tomorrow night.

If you missed it, director Hamish Hamilton opened up about how the presentation will work for fans watching from their homes on television.

The Little Mermaid Live! premieres TOMORROW, November 5th @ 8PM ET/PT on ABC.

ABC just released the first sneak peeks for the music from the upcoming, The Little Mermaid Live!

The new visuals give us a look inside recording for the upcoming event with Auli’i Cravalho, Queen Latifah, John Stamos, Shaggy, and Graham Phillips.

The special give fans an inside look at recording the songs for the concert, including “Under the Sea,” “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” “Her Voice,” “Les Poissons” and, “Part of Your World.”

“Recording music for this live event has been awe-inspiring,” Auli’i shared in one of the videos. “The first song that I sang was ‘Part of Your World’, and my first take went really, really well. I was like ‘oh, this feels really good’, and I turned to Alan [Menken] and he was just like ‘Yasss!’”

The 56-year-old actor will star as Chef Louis in the upcoming production, opposite Auli’i Cravalho as Ariel, Graham Phillips as Prince Eric, Queen Latifah as Ursula, and Shaggy as Sebastian.

The special, live event will star Auli’i Cravalho as Ariel, Queen Latifah as Ursula, Graham Phillips as Prince Eric, John Stamos at Chef Louis, and Shaggy as Sebastian, in a celebration the 30th anniversary of the beloved animated movie through a never-before-seen hybrid musical featuring intricate live sets, costumes and music from the original animated film and the Tony-nominated Broadway stage version.

Not only do we get our first look at each character, but there are also clips of each character singing songs from their character!

John Stamos is returning as Chef Louis in the upcoming live version of The Little Mermaid.

The 56-year-old star will take on the role of Chef Louis in the event, a part he’s previously played in the Hollywood Bowl production.

Graham Phillips has also been cast in the event as Prince Eric.

John and Graham join Auli’i Cravalho, Queen Latifah and Shaggy in the production, and will celebrate the 30th anniversary of the beloved animated movie through a never-before-seen hybrid musical featuring intricate live sets, costumes and music from the original animated film and the Tony-nominated Broadway stage version.
