Cara Delevingne Was Suicidal While Struggling With Her Sexuality & Homophobic in Her Youth

Cara Delevingne is getting candid about her sexuality journey.

The 28-year-old model and actress made an appearance on Gwyneth Paltrow‘s goop podcast.

“I grew up in an old fashioned household. I didn’t know anyone who was gay. I didn’t know that was a thing and actually I think growing up I was quite not noticeably, I wasn’t knowledgeable of the fact I was homophobic,” she explained.

“The idea of being same sex [partners], I was disgusted by that, in myself. I was like, ‘Oh my God, I would never, that’s disgusting, ugh,” she continued.

“I do correlate the massive depression and the suicidal moments of my life [to that] because I was so ashamed of ever being that. But actually that was the part of me that I love so much and accept,” Cara went on to say, adding that she now defines herself as pansexual, or not limited to sex or gender identity, and that the definition is “constantly changing.”

“There is still a part of me where I’m like, ‘Oh, I wish I could just be straight.’ There is still that side to it. It is really complicated,” she admitted.

“I was so unhappy and I wasn’t following my truth, especially in terms of being a model. That whole thing of having to fit into the box – I’m an androgynous person. I love being a woman and dressing up and doing all that, but I also love being a rough and tumble ‘man.’ I feel so much more comfortable in the fluidity of what it is to be just a human and to be an animal, almost, because that’s what we are. To trust in your own instincts.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals If She Would Return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t totally ruling out a possible return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe!

Earlier this week, the 47-year-old actress and goop founder revealed in an interview with People (the TV Show!) that she’s open to returning for a Marvel movie or TV series, but in a limited capacity.

“I think if it was a small part that I could do in like a day or two, I would of course be open to that,” Gwyneth shared.

From 2008 to 2019, Gwyneth has appeared in seven Marvel movies as Pepper Potts, Tony Stark’s love interest and CEO of Star Industries.

Back in 2019, Gwyneth went viral when she totally forgot she appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming! See what happened.

In a recent interview, Gwyneth Paltrow explained why she didn’t publicly reveal her COVID-19 diagnosis when she was battling the virus.

Gwyneth Paltrow Explains Why She Didn't Reveal Her COVID-19 Diagnosis When She Had It

Gwyneth Paltrow opened up about her battle with COVID-19 back in February 2020, nearly a year after she had the virus.

The Oscar-winning actress is now explaining why she waited so long to tell her fans about what happened to her. Some people thought she held off on talking about it because of her role in the movie Contagion, in which she played patient zero during a pandemic, but she says that’s not true.

“I got it so early that there weren’t COVID tests available,” Gwyneth told The Hollywood Reporter. “We couldn’t even get tested for a long time, and by the time we were able to get antibody tests and all of that, there were much graver, more important things going on in the world. I didn’t really feel the need to bring it up, but it was interesting.”

Gwyneth thinks she contracted the virus during a trip to Paris last February.

On her Goop blog, Gwyneth told fans about the things she did to feel better after battling the virus. She received some criticism for the list and now she’s responding to that.

“It’s usually that I always find it’s for their own amplification,” she said. “We really are not to say at goop that we have never made mistakes because of course we have in the past, but we’re very much in integrity and we’re careful about what we say. We always feel like we understand why a lot of that [criticism] becomes clickbait for people.”

In a recent interview, Gwyneth talked about the amount of weight she gained and then lost in quarantine.

Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals How Much Weight She Gained in Quarantine, Plus How She Lost It

Gwyneth Paltrow is opening up about gaining weight during quarantine and how she was able to lose most of it already.

The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actress discussed her diet plan during the In Goop Health – The At-Home Summit virtual event over the weekend.

“I was absolutely no holds barred,” Gwyneth said about gaining weight during the pandemic. “I gained 14 pounds and my gut was a mess. But I just didn’t want to do anything about it, really. I felt like my wine and my pasta and biscuits and crackers and cheese were getting me through.”

Gwyneth was able to lose weight with the help of Dr. Will Cole, who put her on a bone broth diet and plan that he created for her. She has since lost 11 pounds.

“I remember when I started this intuitive fasting program Jan. 3. I thought, all I could think about was, ‘When can I have a cocktail again?’” Gwyneth said (via Yahoo). “You know me, I don’t cheat, I don’t break, I’m so disciplined and I was like, I can’t do this. Then I started to feel so good after about 60 days in.”

She continued, “And now I’m starting to feel so good that I’m like, yeah, like, I would drink if I could, maybe, but not seven days a week anymore. I don’t want to go back to that.”

Gwyneth also recently opened up about her husband’s struggles with COVID-19 and the symptom that lasted for nine months.

Gwyneth Paltrow Says Her Husband Lost His Taste & Smell for Nine Months Because of COVID-19

Gwyneth Paltrow is opening up about one of the brutal and long-lasting symptoms that her husband Brad Falchuk experienced after a battle with COVID-19.

The Oscar-winning actress revealed last month that she and Brad got the virus early on and that they were still coping with some symptoms.

Now, Gwyneth is talking further about how they were affected by the coronavirus.

“He actually only got his taste and smell back in January, so nine months after he lost it,” Gwyneth told People, adding that she’s still dealing with “a bit of fatigue and brain fog.”

She continued, “But there’s so many people who are going through it and we’re getting better all the time.”

Brad just celebrated his 50th birthday and Gwyneth opened up about the special thing they did for the occasion.

“We actually were able to go skiing in Wyoming with a few friends on a COVID safe trip and it was amazing,” she said. “It was so nice to celebrate him. He’s such a special, amazing man.”

Gwyneth Paltrow Recalls Her Battle With COVID-19 in Early 2020

Gwyneth Paltrow is opening up and revealing to fans that she too, was one of the many celebrities who tested positive for COVID-19 coronavirus.

The 48-year-old actress wrote an article on her Goop website about the symptoms she had and her battle through the virus.

“I had COVID-19 early on, and it left me with some long-tail fatigue and brain fog,” she confessed. “In January, I had some tests done that showed really high levels of inflammation in my body. So I turned to one of the smartest experts I know in this space, the functional medicine practitioner Dr. Will Cole. After he saw all my labs, he explained that this was a case where the road to healing was going to be longer than usual.”

Gwyneth then explained that to cope, she’s been implementing a new diet to deal with the symptoms.

“So I’ve been cooking a lot, and some of it is really delicious…”

She went on, adding that “everything I’m doing feels good, like a gift to my body. I have energy, I’m working out in the mornings, and I’m doing an infrared sauna as often as I can, all in service of healing.”

“A side benefit is my skin, which makes me happy—and makes me want to double down on skin care even more. Let’s make 2021 the year of never needing makeup, people!”

Gwyneth joins all of these celebrities who tested positive.
