“We should definitely listen to her, and if she wants out of this conservatorship with her dad controlling it, then we should listen to her. I don’t know the specifics of her situation and if she should be out of a conservatorship. But the thing I’ve told the fans out there is I don’t know. I have no idea what’s really going on,” he explained.

“I do trust her sister, Jamie Lynn [Spears]. And as long as Jamie Lynn is cool with whatever she’s doing, I mean, I have to be,” he continued.

He also spoke about their experiences with fame, and how hers differed: “Being a female is definitely different. Being at such a young age. Also, I had my best friends in my group, so it was easier to deal with. She was just a solo act. She had everything riding on her shoulders, the whole world was either against her or for her and that’s a lot to take in.”

“I have talked to Jamie Lynn recently, which is why I feel so much better about this situation. They aren’t as worried as we are,” he previously said to ET, adding that he “no idea what’s really going on” with the legal battle.

Her father Jamie claims that he and Britney have not spoken for this amount of time amid the legal battle.

Jamie Lynn Spears Explains Why 'Zoey 101' Ended & It's Not Because of Her Pregnancy

Jamie Lynn Spears is explaining why Zoey 101 ended back in 2008 and, at the time, everyone assumed it’s because she was pregnant.

“In today’s world, immediately I’d have my social media to post something, and it’d be cleared up. But even today, people still have their thoughts about it. I didn’t become pregnant until probably six months after we wrapped or something like that, but some of the episodes had not aired yet,” Jamie Lynn explained to Nylon. “I think that there was a conversation with Nickelodeon, rightfully so, of, ‘Do we air these episodes?’ But the show had already wrapped and there was never a negotiation to go into any more seasons. We were too old. It was done.”

If you miss Zoey 101, you’re in luck! The Nickelodeon show followed Zoey and her friends at Pacific Coast Academy in Malibu, California, and ran from 2005 to 2008.

Jamie Lynn Spears Revealed She Was Auditioning For 'Twilight' Just Before Learning She Was Pregnant

Jamie Lynn Spears just revealed that she was one of the many who auditioned for Twilight.

The 29-year-old actress and singer told Nylon magazine that her team actually had to force her to audition for the movie in the first place.

“They had to force me. Force me,” Jamie Lynn emphasized. “I remember just thinking like, ‘Y’all are insane. I’m not playing a vampire. That is so stupid. Why would I do that?’ But I went and read for that role.”

The audition happened just before Jamie found out she was pregnant with her first child, Maddie, at just 16.

She added, “I remember sitting in this little room, and I think Lily Collins was there, and I felt so sick. Little did I know, I was pregnant.”

Maddie is now 12.

Just recently, Jamie Lynn opened up about a possible Zoey 101 reunion. See what she said here…

Jamie Lynn Spears is Teasing a 'Zoey 101' Reunion!

*Zoey voice* “Are you ready?”

It looks like we’ll be getting another Zoey 101 reunion!

Jamie Lynn Spears, who played Zoey Brooks on the hit Nickelodeon show, took to her Instagram on Sunday (October 18) to tease an upcoming reunion with her cast mates.

“WE’RE BACK! ARE YOU READY?!” Jamie Lynn wrote on Instagram, while tagging co-stars Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese) and Chris Massey (Michael Barret). She also tagged singer Chantel Jeffries, who was not part of the original show.

They all also shared the same post on their pages.

In the comments, a fan asked why Paul Butcher – who played Zoey’s younger brother Dustin – wasn’t tagged in the post, and Jamie Lynn responded that he had a “prior work engagement.”

Also missing from the post was Victoria Justice (Lola Martinez) and Kristin Herrera (Dana Cruz).

The Nickelodeon show followed Zoey and her friends at Pacific Coast Academy in Malibu, California, and ran from 2005 to 2008.

Last year, the Zoey 101 cast reunited for a sketch on the All That reboot.

Britney Spears 'Dreams' of Conservatorship Ending, But 'Needs People Who Look Out For Her' (Report)

The complicated saga of Britney Spears‘ conservatorship continues.

Following the news that Britney herself “strongly opposes” father Jamie Spears returning to the role of sole conservator, a source tells People that Britney “still wants the conservatorship to end at some point, but more urgently right now she doesn’t want her dad to regain the sole conservator role.”

Jamie is very old school. He treats Britney like a child,” the source told the outlet.

In 2008, Britney was first placed under the conservatorship, and the courts have continued to rule that she is not capable of making decisions about her finances and health care.

Britney wants someone who is respectful and considerate to be in charge of her conservatorship. Someone from the outside who is not her family. Someone who will treat her like an adult and listen to her. She will never have this relationship with Jamie,” the source went on to say.

“She dreams about the conservatorship ending, but this doesn’t seem realistic. She needs to be surrounded by people who look out for her,” the source also told People.

“She is very disappointed in the drama that he caused with her boys,” they also explained of Jamie‘s altercation with Britney‘s son in 2019.

At the same time, her sister Jamie Lynn Spears made new legal moves to be more involved in her sister’s finances.

Here is what Jamie Spears has said about fan concern regarding the conservatorship…

Jamie Lynn Spears Seeks More Control Over Britney Spears' Fortune

Jamie Lynn Spears is making a new move in court.

The 29-year-old sister of Britney Spears, who was recently revealed to have been named the trustee of her estate two years ago, filed a new request in court last week, via the LA Times on Tuesday (August 25).

Britney‘s sister is “now seeking more control over the performer’s fortune amid an increasingly heated struggle over a complicated conservatorship,” the outlet reports.

In the filing, Jamie Lynn “asked that all the assets of the SJB Revocable Trust be moved into one or more accounts with Fidelity Brokerage Services with her as the custodian. If approved, the move would put Britney Spears’ financial assets into those accounts and require a judge’s approval to remove them.”

The trust was created in 2004 to protect her children’s future, and was amended in 2018 to say that upon her death, the trustee — Jamie Lynn Spears — would administer the family’s assets for her children.

“The filing doesn’t explain what role it could play in the ongoing battle over the singer’s protracted conservatorship case — known in other states as a legal guardianship,” the LA Times added.

The conservatorship was recently extended to 2021, with a big new request from Britney still pending…
