Jared Leto is dishing on his new Marvel movie!

During a new interview on the Variety Award Circuit podcast, the 49-year-old actor and musician chatted about his upcoming movie Morbius.

[Morbius is] a Jekyll and Hyde story that’s just big and fun, and sometimes is a little scary, which is, I think, different for that genre. And I’m excited about it. That should be a big, fun popcorn movie,” Jared shared.

The upcoming movie tells the origin story of the Spider-Man villain who is dubbed the living vampire.

Morbius was originally set to hit theaters on July 31, 2020 and it has been delayed until March 19. You can check out the trailer here!

Also in the interview, Jared reacted to being called a “method actor.”

During the conversation, he spoke about getting into character, like gaining 60 pounds to play Mark David Chapman in Chapter 27 and the pranks he pulled on set with Suicide Squad co-stars, and how he feels about being called a “method actor.”

“I appreciate the term, I think it’s a little cloudy, the definition. And it, it could also be really pretentious as well. I was thinking of it as my job to show up and do the best work that I can. It’s my job to show up, do whatever I can, to be over prepared. And to deliver. It’s also my job to show up and, you know, be a pleasure to work with. And, and, and, and to be collaborative, and to have a good experience on set,” he explained.

The Oscar-winning actor is celebrating his 49th birthday today (December 26) and he took to social media to share some new selfies while thanking fans for well wishes.

“#hohoho Thx for all the bday wishes ❌⭕️,” Jared captioned the post.

In the pics, Jared is wearing a Santa hat and a denim shirt that is unbuttoned to reveal his chest. He also shared a couple more images on his Instagram Stories.

The trailer for Jared‘s upcoming movie The Little Things was released earlier this week. He stars in the movie alongside two other Oscar winners and the film will be available to watch at home on the same day it hits theaters!

Denzel Washington, Rami Malek, and Jared Leto star in the debut trailer for The Little Things.

Here’s a synopsis of the film: Kern County Deputy Sheriff Joe “Deke” Deacon (Washington) is sent to Los Angeles for what should have been a quick evidence-gathering assignment. Instead, he becomes embroiled in the search for a killer who is terrorizing the city. Leading the hunt, L.A. Sheriff Department Sergeant Jim Baxter (Malek), impressed with Deke’s cop instincts, unofficially engages his help. But as they track the killer, Baxter is unaware that the investigation is dredging up echoes of Deke’s past, uncovering disturbing secrets that could threaten more than his case.

Jared Leto could be returning to television after signing up to star in Apple’s upcoming WeCrashed series.

According to Collider, the series is based off the popular podcast of the same name. The podcast, hosted by David Brown, chronicled the rise and fall of WeWork and its founders.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra are set to direct the series with Lee Eisenberg and Drew Crevello writing and producing.

Jared, 48, will play Adam Neumann, the charismatic CEO of WeWork, the fast-rising company that was charging toward a huge IPO that put its value at $47 billion dollars before it ultimately crashed, leaving some of the world’s savviest investors holding the bag.

His previous television work includes his breakout role in My So Called Life, as well as 2016′s Great Wide Open and Into the Wild.

Jared will return as Joker in Zack Snyder’s Justice League, set to debut on HBO Max in 2021.

The 48-year-old Oscar-winning actor took to his Instagram on Wednesday (October 21) to share a basically nude mirror pic of himself, with a hidden agenda.

“Happy hump day,” the shirtless Jared captioned the pic while adding, “P.S. Don’t forget to vote.”

Jared is just one of the many stars that have stripped down on social media to encourage fans to get out and vote.

Michael B. Jordan shared a shirtless, seductive pic while sharing tips about voting, while Kylie Jenner shared a thirst trap along with a link to get fans to register to vote.

If you missed it, it was reported earlier on Wednesday that Jared will be once again suiting up as the Joker for an upcoming project!

Jared Leto is returning as The Joker!!!

THR is reporting that Jared will be filming as part of the reshoots for Zack Snyder‘s Justice League, known as the “Snyder Cut.” Jared played the role in 2016’s Suicide Squad.

Justice League was originally released years ago. If you don’t know the story, Zack Snyder was the original director of the DC Universe movie, but he had to drop out in the middle of filming due to a family emergency and Joss Whedon was brought in to finish the movie. Fans have been demanding that Zack‘s version of the film be released and it will finally happen in 2021. The movie will air in four parts on HBO Max.

Zack has reportedly been doing reshoots with many cast members, but one is not shooting anything additional! Ben Affleck, Ray Fisher, and Amber Heard are all apparently filming.
