Armie Hammer has some fun with his co-stars while hitting the red carpet at the premiere of their latest film Sorry to Bother You held during the 2018 SXSW Festival at ZACH Theatre on Monday (March 11) in Austin, Texas.

The 31-year-old actor and his cast mates Steven Yeun, Omari Hardwick and Jermaine Fowler were also joined at the event by director and screenwriter of the film, Boots Riley.

Here’s a synopsis: In an alternate present-day version of Oakland, telemarketer Cassius Green discovers a magical key to professional success, propelling him into a macabre universe.

The film has a great cast featuring Lakeith Stanfield, Tessa Thompson, Armie Hammer, Terry Crews, Steven Yeun, Omari Hardwick, Jermaine Fowler, and Danny Glover in the film written and directed by Boots Riley.

The 49-year-old talk show host was the host of the event, where WME/IMG’s co-CEO Ari Emanuel was honored with the Vanguard Award and Valerie Jarrett, the former senior advisor to President Obama, was honored with the Rand Schrader Distinguished Achievement Award.

Some of the other stars in attendance included Barely Famous sisters Erin and Sara Foster, soccer star Robbie Rogers, comedian Jermaine Fowler, and UnREAL actress Breeda Wool.

The 29-year-old actor and comedian is one of the stars of the CBS comedy Superior Donuts.

“What most awards show do is have the announcer locked in a closet reading from a script on cue,” Jack Sussman, CBS Entertainment EVP, music and live events, told Deadline. “What we will do is have Jermaine be an active part of the show. He will be connected with what’s happened on the telecast and what happens next. What we want to do is get a peek behind the curtain in a fun, engaging way.”

In last night’s (February 1) Late Late Show sketch, the 37-year-old The Path star gets help from host James, 38, to break onto the set of The Price Is Right for a shot at redemption. That is until real-life Drew Carey shows up to really challenge him.

LEGO Batman Movie star Jenny Slate and comedian Jermaine Fowler also served as guests that evening and made sure to swap stories about their childhood.
