Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn have kept extremely quiet about their relationship over the years, and now, he’s speaking out about ignoring the “extra noise” that comes with the interest in his personal life.

“I just don’t really engage with anything that I don’t want to engage with,” Joe told ET when asked about keeping his private life to himself. “And so if there’s any kind of extra noise about things that I’m not so interested in, I’ll just turn it off. And so it just disappears, to a degree.”

Joe Alwyn and Taylor Swift were last seen out together earlier this month after her SNL appearance.

Cynthia Erivo wows on the red carpet at the premiere of her movie Harriet on Tuesday (October 29) at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles.

On the red carpet, Cynthia was asked by Variety about the Oscar buzz surrounding her performance.

“When you say it like that… I think I was compartmentalizing it, like little bits at a time, but when you say it all at once, it sounds really crazy and amazing. It’s just a wonderful time. It means a lot. And to be around this, doing this now with all of the things that are happening, it’s a dream come true,” she said.

Robert Pattinson and Joe Alwyn both look so handsome while stepping out at the 2019 Governors Awards on Sunday night (October 27) at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.

The guys both wore all black looks and they were so dapper!

Robert was joined at the event by his The Lighthouse co-star Willem Dafoe and director Robert Eggers.

Joe promoted his film Harriet and the film’s star Cynthia Erivo was at the event as well.

More stars in attendance, who helped kick off awards season, included Lucy in the Sky‘s Jon Hamm, 1917‘s George MacKay and Dean Charles Chapman, Downton Abbey‘s Allen Leech with wife Jessica Blair Herman, and The Lion King‘s Billy Eichner.

The 29-year-old songstress and the 28-year-old actor were spotted holding hands while arriving at the event early Sunday morning (October 6) in New York City.

They were also joined by Taylor‘s close friends Gigi Hadid and Martha Hunt.

Earlier in the evening, Taylor took to the SNL stage to perform a piano version of “Lover” as well as her song “False God.”

During her performance of “Lover,” many fans noticed Taylor looking in Joe‘s direction while singing. Watch her performance!

Joe Alwyn is spending some time at home in London!

The 28-year-old actor was spotted on a stroll on Monday afternoon (September 25) in the Soho neighborhood of London, England.

He was last spotted while jetting out of Rhode Island with girlfriend Taylor Swift earlier in the month.

Joe, who just premiered his new film Harriet, has several projects in the works, including A Christmas Carol television mini-series.

His next movie The Souvenir: Part II is due out in 2020.
