Joe Alwyn is looking so suave on the red carpet at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

The 28-year-old actor is in attendance to support his film Harriet, for which the star Cynthia Erivo is nominated! In addition, Joe‘s girlfriend Taylor Swift is up for Best Song for her Cats hit “Beautiful Ghost.”

The Golden Globes will be hosted by actor and comedian Ricky Gervais this year, marking his fifth time as host. Make sure to tune in at 8pm ET/5pm PT on NBC.

Joe Alwyn is speaking out about dating Taylor Swift and what it’s like having her write songs about him.

The 28-year-old Harriet actor opened up about the 30-year-old “You Need to Calm Down” singer in a new interview with The Sunday Times.

When asked if he minds Taylor “dedicating entire love songs to him,” Joe answered, “No, not at all. No. It’s flattering.”

According to the interviewer, Joe feels that “99.9 percent of what the press write about them is false.” For example, he says that Taylor doesn’t really have a private jet that she uses to fly to him whenever she wants.

“I just don’t pay attention to what I don’t want to pay attention to,” Joe continued. “I turn everything else down on a dial. I don’t have any interest in tabloids. I know what I want to do, and that’s this, and that’s what I am doing.”

Joe Alwyn joins Guy Pearce at a few interviews to promote their new movie, A Christmas Carol, in New York City on Monday afternoon (December 17).

The two stars of the FX original movie stopped by Build Series and BuzzFeed’s “AM To DM” to chat about the new version of the movie, based on Charles Dickens‘ classic tale.

In another recent interview, Joe opened up about how his main competition in the role of Bob Crachit is actually Kermit The Frog.

“I read the book again, which I must’ve read when I was younger. I read it again, just doing my homework,” Joe shares about preparing for the role. “I’ve since been told about The Muppets and that Kermit is my main competition. I’m going head to head with a frog who played Bob. But I didn’t know a huge amount about other interpretations.”

He added, “The descriptions were so complete, unto themselves, and there was so much in them to mine and go off of, that was attractive, in itself. I knew the people surrounding it. I’d worked with Guy [Pearce] before and really got on with him, and I think he’s just fantastic. So, with the combination of him, Andy Serkis, and everyone, really, it was an exciting opportunity.”

A Christmas Carol premieres TOMORROW, Thursday, December 19th on FX and BBC.

Taylor Swift holds hands with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn while leaving the world premiere of her movie Cats on Monday (December 16) at Lincoln Center in New York City.

Joe didn’t walk the red carpet with Taylor earlier in the night, but he was in attendance to support his longtime girlfriend!

Taylor, 30, and Joe, 28, have yet to walk a red carpet together, though they often do support each other at premieres and special events.

Joe Alwyn looks sharp at the photo call for his upcoming series, A Christmas Carol, held at Picturehouse Central on Tuesday night (December 10) in London, England.

The 28-year-old actor joined his co-stars Stephen Graham, Vinette Robinson, and Charlotte Riley for the event, just a week ahead of the US premiere of the show on FX.

Guy Pearce and Andy Serkis, as Ebenezer Scrooge and the Ghost of Christmas Past, respectively, lead the cast for a dark retelling of the classic Charles Dickens tale.

FX’s A Christmas Carol, also premiering on BBC One on December 19th, is described as “a haunting, hallucinatory, spine-tingling immersion into Scrooge’s dark night of the soul.”

Taylor Swift reportedly spent her Thanksgiving up in the air!

The 29-year-old “Lover” singer flew to London to spend time with her boyfriend Joe Alwyn, E! News reports.

“She arrived on Thursday from New York and is spending the weekend there,” a source told the site.

Before heading off to London though, Taylor held her annual Friendsgiving. Pals Antoni Porowski, Gigi Hadid and Martha Hunt were all in attendance.

“thankful for friends ❤️,” Martha captioned a cute photo of her and Taylor.
