David Harbour and Hugh Dancy keep it cool as they pose for photographs on the carpet at the opening night celebration of A Bright Room Called Day held at The Public Theater on Tuesday evening (November 19) in New York City.
The 44-year-old Stranger Things star and the 44-year-old Path star were joined at the event by Grace Gummer, Michael Urie, Miriam Shor, Brett Gelman, Bill Heck, Brian d’Arcy James, theater owner Jordan Roth, and Annaleigh Ashford along with her husband Joe Tapper.
Directed by artistic director Oskar Eustis, this new version of Pulitzer Prize winner Tony Kushner‘s first play—originally about the possibility of the Reagan counter-revolution giving rise to American fascism—shines a light on the vulnerability of American democracy today.
Performances of A Bright Room Called Day began October 29 and are scheduled through December 15.
