Jon Hamm has started production on his new movie No Sudden Move!

The 49-year-old actor looked straight out of the ’50s while on set of his upcoming HBO Max movie directed by Steven Soderbergh on Monday afternoon (November 2) in Detroit, Michigan.

In between scenes, Jon was spotted wearing a face mask while chatting with crew members.

Also spotted on set was Benicio del Toro, who filmed a scene for the movie at the Hotel Gothan.

Here’s the synopsis for No Sudden Move: “The film is set in 1955 Detroit and centers on a group of small-time criminals who are hired to steal what they think is a simple document. When their plan goes horribly wrong, their search for who hired them – and for what ultimate purpose – weaves them through all echelons of the race-torn, rapidly changing city,” according to Deadline.

The film also stars Don Cheadle, David Harbour, Amy Seimetz, Ray Liotta, Kieran Culkin, Brendan Fraser, Noah Jupe, Bill Duke, Frankie Shaw, and Julia Fox.

The 49-year-old actor and the 32-year-old actress were spotted picking up snacks arm in arm on Tuesday (September 29) in Santa Monica, Calif.

The two were both seen wearing face coverings amid the pandemic.

The two were seen spending the day at the beach together over the weekend in Santa Barbara, Calif. Jon was seen going shirtless for a dip in the ocean while relaxing with his girlfriend.

A photo that showed Jon Hamm‘s pants bulge became the subject of a trial this week, even though the actor was not actually involved in the lawsuit.

Huffington Post was sued by photographer Lawrence Schwartzwald for using a photo he snapped of Jon back in 2012, without obtaining the proper license. The photo went viral as you can visibly see the actor’s manhood in his pants.

The photo was used in an article about the “25 things you wish you hadn’t learned in 2013 and must forget in 2014.” In the article, a black text box was placed over Jon‘s crotch with the phrase “IMAGE LOADING” written inside the box.

Jon Hamm is looking buff!

The 49-year-old Mad Men and actor was seen texting on his phone as he arrived at a voice-over studio on Thursday afternoon (September 3) in Los Angeles.

Jon showed off his buff arms in a white, U.S. Open T-shirt paired with black joggers and flip-flops. He stayed safe in a red face mask that had cartoons of female superheroes on it.

Earlier in the summer, it was confirmed that Jon and one of his former Mad Men co-stars are dating and they’ve been a couple for years now. The two were recently spotted doing some grocery shopping together.

Later in the day, Jon changed into a black t-shirt and gym shorts while picking up groceries at a local Gelson’s Market. He wore the same black bandana as a face mask during both of the outings.
