Alessia Cara Wears Heart-Print Suit for Latin Grammys 2019 Performance

Alessia Cara and Juanes perform their hit “Querer Mejor” at the 2019 Latin Grammys on Thursday (November 14) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The 23-year-old singer looked cute in a purple suit covered with black hearts and orange sneakers for their performance.

Earlier in the night, Alessia walked the red carpet in a black, purple, red, and white patterned dress.

“Querer Mejor” was nominated for two awards tonight – Song of the Year and Record of the Year.

The 41-year-old “Despacito” singer hit the red carpet for the 2019 Latin Grammys on Thursday (November 14) at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Rosalia Helps Honor Juanes with Latin Recording Academy's Person of the Year 2019!

Rosalía strikes a fierce pose on the red carpet while attending the Latin Recording Academy’s 2019 Person of the Year Gala honoring Juanes held at the Premier Ballroom at MGM Grand Hotel & Casino on Wednesday (November 13) in Las Vegas.

The 26-year-old Spanish musician hit the stage to perform a special version of the mid-tempo love ode “Es por tí,” accompanied only by suspended keyboard chords, in honor of Juanes.

The evening held special significance, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Academy and with the very first Person of the Year — Emilio Estefan — in attendance, according to Billboard.

Alessia Cara Teams Up with Juanes on Spanglish Single, 'Querer Mejor' - Watch Video Here!

Alessia Cara makes her Spanish-language debut with Juanes on his Spanglish single, “Querer Mejor“!

The original all-Spanish language track was released back in May, but now comes with the addition of the 22-year-old Grammy-winning songstress.

“I’ve always loved Latin music, so getting to dabble in that realm with such a legend is pretty amazing,” Alessia expressed in the press release. “And getting his stamp of approval on my Spanish pronunciation wasn’t so bad either.”

“The joy she finds in music is contagious,” Juanes added in the statement. “[It] brought even more of a connection in how well our voices naturally fit together on this soulful and uplifting song. I am very proud to be the artist she chose to sing with in Spanish for the first time.”

Alessia Cara and Juanes previously collaborated at the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards, where they performed a bilingual version of Logic’s suicide awareness anthem, “1-800-273-8255.”

Keith Urban & Jared Leto Honor Fleetwood Mac at MusiCares Person of the Year Ceremony

Keith Urban and Jared Leto stepped out to honor Fleetwood Mac during 2018 Grammys Weekend!

The musicians hit the red carpet at the 2018 MusiCares Person of the Year event on Friday night (January 26) at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

They were joined at the event by honorees Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, Mick Fleetwood, Christine McVie and John McVie.

Other attendees included OneRepublic, Little Big Town, Juanes, Portugal. The Man and Imagine Dragons.

Later in the evening, Keith, Imagine Dragons and Juanes took to the stage for a performance.

John Cena & 'Ferdinand' Cast Premiere Film At Los Angeles Screening

The cast of Ferdinand pose for a group photo at the premiere screening of the film on Sunday (December 10) in Los Angeles.

The voice of Ferdinand himself, John Cena, joined co-stars Gina Rodriguez, Anthony Anderson, Daveed Diggs, Juanes, Gabriel Iglesias, and Bobby Cannavale, as well as Nick Jonas, who contributed an original song for them film, and Aubrey Anderson-Emmons.

John and Gina even posed for photos with Ferdinand on the carpet.

Ferdinand, based off the beloved children’s book, follows a giant but gentle bull who must find a way to break free from his captors and return home to his family. It hits theaters THIS Friday (December 15)!

Lin-Manuel Miranda, Ana de Armas, & Edgar Ramirez Join Forces at Latin Grammys 2017!

Lin-Manuel Miranda took home the President’s Merit Award at the 2017 Latin Grammy Awards!

The 37-year-old composer and Hamilton creator suited up for the event at MGM Grand Garden Arena on Thursday night (November 16) in Las Vegas.

He was joined by Ana de Armas, who dazzled in a black and silver mini dress, and her Hands Of Stone co-star Edgar Ramirez.

Also in attendance were Wilmer Valderrama, Jackie Cruz, Jaime Camil, and Luis Fonsi, who took home Song of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Urban Fusion/Performance, AND Best Short Form Music Video for “Despacito.”

Juanes accepted the award for Best Pop/Rock Album for Mis Planes Son Amarte, and he performed on stage alongside Alessia Cara and Logic. Flo Rida also took the stage.

Luis brought along his wife Agueda Lopez, and Juanes was joined by his wife Karen Martinez.
