The 36-year-old singer showed off her growing baby bump in a tight black dress as she stopped by XIV Carats for a little holiday shopping with her pal.

After picking out some gifts for her family, Katharine and her pal shared a hug before parting ways.

Later on that same day, Katharine cradled her baby bump in her latest photo on Instagram, which is the first time she’s acknowledged she is expecting a baby with her husband David Foster.

“💙🦋💙,” she captioned while wearing a soft blue coat.

“My most AMAZING and BEAUTIFUL GLOWING wife!” David commented after she shared the image.

Many fans in her comments are wondering if the color of the coat is hinting at the gender of the baby.

One wrote, “Gorgeous!!!! Love it!!! Is the blue color telling us anything?!”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry‘s friendship with Katharine McPhee and David Foster appears to be growing stronger!

The two couples were spotted on a double date on Tuesday night (October 6) at Lucy’s Steakhouse in Montecito, Calif.

Katharine and David were spotted arriving at the restaurant first and about 10 minutes later, Meghan and Harry arrived. People reports that the stars sat outdoors under the covered patio and they were there for three hours.

If you didn’t know, Kat and Meghan actually have known each other for over 20 years. They attended the same school and performed in a musical together, though they were in different grades. They reconnected last year and their husbands are new close friends.

“My husband has a really, really beautiful relationship with Harry. They’re like, they’re so cute. They’re like father and son,” Kat previously told Access Hollywood. “We just stay in touch with them. But mostly, Meghan and I knew each other from childhood, but really Harry and my husband are friends. It’s really nice.”
