Isaiah Washington was fired from Grey’s Anatomy back in 2007 for using a homophobic slur, and now, 13 years later, he is calling out his former co-star, Katherine Heigl.

In the Golden Globes press room back in 2007, Washington famously addressed the rumor that he used a derogatory term and said, “No, I did not call T.R. [Knight] a f—-t. Never happened, never happened.”

Katherine slammed Washington at the time, saying, “I’m going to be really honest right now, he needs to just not speak in public. Period. I’m sorry, that did not need to be said, I’m not okay with it.”

Well, on Monday (November 16), Washington tweeted a photo of Katherine with the caption, “This woman once proclaimed that I should ‘never’ be allowed to speak publicly again. The world agreed with her proclamation back then and protested for my job and my head in 65 languages. I wish I was on Twitter in 2007, because I will NEVER stop exercising my free speech.”

He then continued to tweet out more and more about the incident.

Katherine Heigl and husband Josh Kelley are celebrating their anniversary!

The 41-year-old actress took to her Instagram to commemorate their occasion with some sweet black and white photos.

“This man…this day…this marriage…I am damn grateful. That he found me. That I found him. That we have somehow miraculously bettered each other. Happy 12th anniversary love of my life,” Katherine wrote.

She continued, “And thank you. For never wavering in your love, your loyalty. For being an endlessly blissful safe place to land. For raising a joy up in me that bursts forth in uninhibited raucous peals of laughter. Holy shit do I love you! Am still madly in love with you. Am forever blessed by your love for me. Nobody… @joshbkelley”

Katherine Heigl has ditched her blonde hair!

The 40-year-old actress took to Instagram on Tuesday (September 3) to share a selfie debuting her new, much darker hair.

“If you haven’t caught my stories this will be a shock for you…#tullyhart #FireflyLane #nextroleforthisgal,” Katherine captioned the below photo.

It was announced over the summer that Katherine will be starring as Tully Hart in the upcoming 10-episode Netflix series Firefly Lane.

“Firefly Lane revolves around Tully and Kate, who meet as young girls and become inseparable best friends throughout 30 years of ups and downs, successes and failures, depression and disappointments. When an unthinkable betrayal breaks them apart the two women go their separate ways, and it’s unclear whether they’ll ever be able to reconcile,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Will Katherine Heigl, aka Dr. Izzie Stevens, ever return to Grey’s Anatomy?

The 40-year-old Suits actress addressed the possibility in a new interview with ET, saying the decision would be “a tough one.”

Katherine left the ABC series in 2010 during the sixth season.

“I haven’t [thought about Izzie] in years,” Katherine said. “I don’t know. I don’t know if I would or if I wouldn’t. I almost feel like that would almost be distracting again to, sort of, what they’ve done with that show in the seven years since I left… and what that’s become and what it is to the fans now.”

“It must feel like it would just be kind of like, ‘Yeah, we already let that go… why are you here?’” Katherine Heigl added.

Katherine Heigl has an exciting new role!

The former Doubt star will return to CBS in the form of a new half-hour comedy pilot called Our House, according to The Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday (March 20).

Katherine will executive produce the pilot, and will also be a series regular.

Our House is about a devoted mom (Heigl) and dad (Malcolm Barrett), who are committed to raising their children with the love and support the mom never got as a kid, but discover how difficult that is with her insane parents and siblings back in the picture.

Katherine plays Bridget, who is “someone who tries her best to be a laid-back, progressive parent like her therapist husband, but often finds herself reverting to the old-school style of her parents.”

She will also still star in the final season of Suits.

James, on the film’s lasting effect: “I don’t think anybody ever knows when you’re filming something that’s going to stand the test of time. I think there’s a sincerity to the movie that gives it legs.”
