Kid Rock is not backing down.
The 50-year-old musician tweeted a slur again while reacting to a video of himself using the slur at a Tennessee bar, which he decided to repeat on social media on Wednesday (June 10).

Kid Rock and Loretta Lynn… married?!
That’s what fans thought for several hours until Loretta revealed it was all a joke.
Over the weekend, Loretta‘s son had a vow renewal ceremony and her longtime friend Kid Rock was there. She posted to Instagram and said, “What a weekend! My Ernie & Crystal renewed their vows this weekend. It was beautiful and everything it should be. Marriage isn’t always easy–heck it’s not even always pretty, but love holds you together and you push through the bad days to enjoy the good ones. I’m so proud of them and wish them years of happiness. Things got crazy then–my boy @kidrock was there and we’ve always teased about getting ourselves married. Well, the preacher was already there so we had some fun with it. Sorry girls, he’s taken now!”
About 14 hours later, Loretta clarified on her page that they didn’t really get married.
“Well, it didn’t last long, y’all but it sure was fun! I guess I better get on here and let y’all know that it was just a joke— @kidrock and I didn’t get married over the weekend, but we had a blast,” she posted.
Lynn‘s granddaughter posted on Instagram that Loretta, 88, and Kid Rock, 49, “adore each other” and “joke around all the time about getting married and saying to heck with the rest of em.”
Kid Rock is mostly in the news these days for his right-wing political views.
Chrissy Teigen is sticking up for Taylor Swift.
The 33-year-old Bring the Funny judge came to the defense of the 29-year-old entertainer after Kid Rock took to Twitter to slam Taylor‘s political views.
“Taylor Swift wants to be a democrat because she wants to be in movies….period. And it looks like she will suck the door knob off Hollyweird to get there. Oldest move in the book. Good luck girl. -Kid Rock,” the 48-year-old singer and vocal Trump supporter wrote.
Chrissy then clapped back, writing,”you’re pathetic. – Chrissy Teigen.”

Taylor Swift is being criticized by Kid Rock.
The 48-year-old “Bawitdaba” musician posted a message criticizing the 29-year-old “You Need to Calm Down” superstar on Friday (August 9).

Several stars have clapped back in response to Kid Rock‘s message, including Patton Oswalt: “Amen, Bob. She should be a real American like you, growing up on a six acre estate complete with tennis court and horse paddock, and then bravely adopting a faux ‘redneck s–tkicker’ cosplay persona. God bless you, buddy ruff,” he said.

Sacha Baron Cohen dishing on some behind the scenes drama on set of one of his biggest movies.
During a recent interview on The Last Laugh podcast, the 47-year-old actor said that his 2006 movie Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan was why Pamela Anderson and Kid Rock‘s marriage failed.
The movie follows Borat as he interviews unsuspecting Americans and making inappropriate and outrageous comments.
Pamela‘s role in the film centers around Borat approaching her at a book signing and attempting to put the Baywatch star to a “traditional marriage sack” to take her back to Kazakhstan so they can get married.
Sacha said that Pamela was in on the scene because “Otherwise it would have been kidnapping.”
“We did that scene twice, actually,” Sacha explained. “The first time we did it at a book signing and I grabbed her over my shoulder and ran out with her and no one did anything. I was like, what kind of fans are these?”
When the film was released in November 2006, Pamela and Kid Rock had just tied the knot a few weeks earlier. After seeing the movie, Kid Rock reportedly started screaming at Pamela, saying that she “had humiliated herself and telling her, ‘You’re nothing but a whore!’” The couple then filed for divorce shortly after.
Sacha said that he texted Pamela after they saw the film and asked, “How did it go? What did he think?” She then texted him back saying that she and Kid Rock were getting divorced adding that “the movie” was the cause.
“And I thought it was a joke but then a few weeks later they got divorced and they put as a reason for divorce, Borat,” Sacha jokingly continued. “I think they were a fantastic couple, so it’s a shame.”
