Guillermo del Toro hits the black carpet alongside screenwriter Kim Morgan at the 2018 LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci on Saturday night (November 3) at LACMA in Los Angeles.

The 54-year-old The Shape of Water director is being honored at the event tonight alongside photographer Catherine Opie.

Fellow directors stepping out for the event included Damien Chazelle and wife Olivia Hamilton, Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu and wife Maria, George Lucas and wife Mellody Hobson, and Alfonso Cuaron.

Lily James and Matt Smith pose for photos while attending the Miu Miu Women’s Tales Dinner held during the 2018 Venice Film Festival on Sunday (September 2) in Venice, Italy.

The longtime couple joined a star-studded group of celebs at the event. Matt had the premiere of his movie Charlie Says earlier in the day and his co-stars Hannah Murray, Sosie Bacon, and Marianne Rendon all attended the dinner as well.

Guillermo Del Toro links arms with screenwriter Kim Morgan while walking the red carpet at the 2018 Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theatre on Sunday (March 4) in Hollywood.

The 53-year-old filmmaker is nominated for three awards this evening for his work on The Shape of Water - Best Picture for being a producer, Best Director, and Best Original Screenplay.

Guillermo was previously nominated for Best Original Screenplay in 2007 for his work on Pan’s Labyrinth.

It was announced last year that Guillermo will be directing a Nightmare Alley remake that he will co-write with Kim!
