Kumail Nanjiani and Dan Levy took part in a “peaceful protest” on Wednesday night’s (January 29) episode of The Late Late Show!

The 41-year-old Eternals actor and the 36-year-old Schitt’s Creek star refused to answer any of host James Corden‘s questions after he refused to pay out his bet with his keyboard player Steve Scalfati.

Scalfati, sporting a clean shave, had won a wager made exactly 365 days ago. Corden agreed to pay Scalfati $10,000 if he went one year without shaving and the keyboardist did just that. Corden wanted to settle the wager later, but Scalfati rejected that idea.

Kumail and Dan ended up ignoring Corden and interviewing each other for a majority of the segment while Corden was forced to run for his chequebook. “This is peaceful protest, this is what happens,” Dan joked.

Kumail and Dan were also challenged to play a game of Rad Bod or Dad Bod, where one by one, they must decide if each face in front of them belongs to a body with a six pack or filled with six packs – Watch more after the cut!

Kumail Nanjiani heads out to lunch with wife Emily V. Gordon on Wednesday afternoon (January 29) in Los Feliz, Calif.

Just a few days before, the 41-year-old actor was seen showing off his muscles after a workout.

In a recent interview, Kumail opened up about one story that he really didn’t like seeing after his body transformation reveal.

“The story that I didn’t like was, a lot of people would do two side-by-side pictures and be like, ‘Can you believe this turned into this?’” he shared. “And it’s just a picture of me from a year and a half ago, looking how I’ve looked my entire life.”

Kumail added, “…They’re like, ‘Can you believe this garbage-pooping sea monster turned into this? Like, was I leaving a trail of slime behind me? I was normal-looking!”

Kumail Nanjiani is revealing that he is “slightly less interesting” now that he’s buff.

“People expect me to be different, and I’m really not,” Kumail said on Conan on Tuesday (January 28). “I’m slightly less interesting because I do talk about working out a lot. And I’m slightly less funny. Other than that, same guy.”

“These muscles are decorative. They don’t do anything. They really don’t. [My wife] Emily [V. Gordon] will be like, ‘Can you open this jar for me?’ And I’m like, ‘Probably not,’” he added.

“I never thought I’d be one of those people who would post a thirsty shirtless, but I’ve worked way too hard for way too long so here we are. I found out a year ago I was going to be in Marvel’s Eternals and decided I wanted to transform how I looked,” he continued.

Kumail Nanjiani paid a visit to Jimmy Kimmel Live on Thursday (January 23) and dished about the reaction to showing off his amazing body transformation with his viral Instagram post.

The 41-year-old Eternals actor explained to Jimmy that he took the photos before Christmas while shooting The Eternals so he could have proof that his body looked the way it did: “Who knows what I’m going to look like after Christmas?” he recalled thinking at the time. “As soon as I saw the picture, I was like the world must see this,”

After the photo “exploded,” Kumail called the reception “super weird.” “It was a weird couple of days… It really got out of control,” he said.

“My brother said, ‘Dad already sent your naked pics to both family’s Whatsapp groups.’ And then it goes in newspapers in Pakistan,” Kumail continued. “So I had all my aunts texting me pictures of myself, like ‘so proud of you.’ It’s weird to have your aunts sending you naked pictures of yourself.”

“The biggest problem is once you get that, you don’t stop exercising,” Kumail explained of his fitness routine after Kimmel was quick to comment on how “ripped” the actor was now. “I wish it was like a video game where you hit save,” he added.

Kumail also talked about what Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson thought of his muscles, his new show Little America and Jimmy surprises him with pizza and desserts which lead to Kumail breaking his diet for the first time in a year.

Kumail Nanjiani is all smiles as he hits the carpet at the premiere of his new Apple TV+ series Little America held at Pacific Design Center on Thursday (January 23) in West Hollywood.

The 41-year-old actor was joined at the event by his real-life love and co-writer Emily V. Gordon, as well as his Silicon Valley co-stars Thomas Middleditch and Martin Starr who stepped out to show their support.

Michael Showalter, who directed Kumail in his breakout movie The Big Sick, is directing The Lovebirds. The film hits theaters on April 3.
