George Clooney‘s The Midnight Sky finally has its debut trailer!

Here’s a synopsis of the film: This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe. Clooney directs the adaptation of Lily Brooks-Dalton’s acclaimed novel “Good Morning, Midnight,” co-starring David Oyelowo, Kyle Chandler, Demián Bichir and Tiffany Boone. George also directs the film.

George Clooney is seen with a bushy beard in this first look photo from his upcoming Netflix movie The Midnight Sky, which will be released in December 2020.

The film is based on the book by Lily Brooks-Dalton with a screenplay by Mark L. Smith (The Revenant). It’s being directed and produced by George!

This post-apocalyptic tale follows Augustine (Clooney), a lonely scientist in the Arctic, as he races to stop Sully (Felicity Jones) and her fellow astronauts from returning home to a mysterious global catastrophe.

This is already George‘s seventh movie as a director and he has starred in all but one of them – 2017′s Suburbicon.

Also starring in The Midnight Sky are David Oyelowo, Tiffany Boone, Demian Bichir, Kyle Chandler, and newcomer Caoilinn Springall.

Catch-22 co-stars Kyle Chandler and Christopher Abbott walk the red carpet at the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, Calif.

Christopher was nominated for his work on the Hulu show, but unfortunately, he did not win! He lost to Russell Crowe for The Loudest Voice.

The Golden Globes will be hosted by actor and comedian Ricky Gervais this year, marking his fifth time as host. Make sure to tune in to the last hour of the Golden Globes, airing right now on NBC.

FYI: Christopher is wearing Dolce&Gabbana.

The 39-year-old Orange is the New Black actress and her husband Ben Foster stopped by the American Veterans Center’s “2019 American Valor: A Salute to Our Heroes” Veterans Day Special at the Omni Shoreham Hotel on Saturday night (October 26) in Washington, DC.

Other celebs seen at the event were Kellie Pickler and Kyle Chandler.

Just last week, Laura Prepon announced she and Ben are expecting their second child together. Congrats to the happy couple on the wonderful news!

George Clooney walks the red carpet at the Catch 22 premiere with his wife Amal and her mom Baria on Wednesday (May 15) in London, England.

If you don’t know, George stars in the show, and directed a few of the episodes. It will debut on Hulu on May 17!

Also walking the red carpet were his co-stars Kyle Chandler, Christopher Abbott, Martin Delaney, Gerran Howell, Josh Bolt, Shai Matheson, Ian Toner, and Tessa Ferrer.
