Mayim Bialik is having a difficult time this holiday season and she bravely opened up to fans about what’s going on in her life.

The 43-year-old Big Bang Theory actress says that she recently went through a breakup and that she’s newly single this Christmas.

“The government is in a shutdown, it’s Christmas Eve day, I’m newly single and not doing so well to be quite honest,” Mayim wrote on Instagram with the below selfie.

“But the most pressing issue right now is that my cats – after 2 years together – have started a dominance war that involves urine and feces,” Mayim added. “Long story short my bed is not able to be slept in and I’m sleeping on my couch. Just keeping you updated as to my life here. Happy Erev 🎄Christmas!”

Mayim Bialik is not happy that The Big Bang Theory is coming to an end.

“You know when you park at a meter, but you’re pulled up too far because the jerk behind you parked beyond their spot, and then you get a $58 parking ticket? That happened. I also had an intense double therapy session. And my younger son tried soccer for the first time. And, also, I found out The Big Bang Theory’s upcoming season 12 will be its final one,” Mayim wrote on her site, Grok Nation. “Am I happy? Of course not. This has been my job since Melissa Rauch and I joined the cast as regulars in season 4. I love my job. I love my castmates, and I feel such appreciation for our incredible crew, our brave writers, our entire staff, and our amazing fans. So many people are a part of our Big Bang family.”

She continued, “This is hard. I love coming to work and pretending to be Amy. She’s a riot. She’s me, and I am her. And soon she will not be mine to create…But my paying job—the one you know me for—is ending and yes: It’s very sad. I fear it’s going to be very hard to not cry every day for the next 23 episodes! But, as a cast, we love bringing joy to our viewers and we will continue to do that to the best of our collective ability.”

Mayim Bialik and Ben Simmons got up, close and personal with two snakes during a game of “Nuzzle Whaaa??” during their appearance on The Late Late Show on Tuesday night (August 14)!

The skit saw the 42-year-old Big Bang Theory star and the 22-year-old basketball player, along with James and his resident drummer, Guillermo Brown, try to figure out which object was in front of them just by sticking their faces in it.

James was especially shocked when he correctly guessed that he’d come face to face with the snakes at the end of the game, saying: “That’s not funny, however, we did win!”

Big Bang Theory fans were in for a treat at Comic-Con!

During the show’s Writer’s Room panel, Mayim Bialik and Kunal Nayyar surprised the audience on Friday (July 20) in San Diego, Calif.

After Mayim and Kunal joined the panel, the writers teased what they have planned for the upcoming season, including Amy and Sheldon’s relationship!

“We do know that Amy and Sheldon ultimately have children but we don’t know if that will be seen in Big Bang Theory,” writer Steve Holland said.

The rest of the team added that this season will feature a connection to Young Sheldon. An adult version of Tam Nguyen, Sheldon’s childhood friend seen on the show, will make an appearance!

The 42-year-old Big Bang Theory actress had some fun with the highly coveted Nintendo Labo on Friday morning (April 20) in Los Angeles.

The 50-year-old Daddy’s Home 2 actor was spotted at the basketball game on Thursday (January 8) at Staples Center in Los Angeles.

He was joined by Pharrell Williams, repping his purple and gold.

Also in the crowd were Floyd Mayweather, The Big Bang Theory‘s Mayim Bialik, Billy Bush, Sylvester Stallone‘s daughters Scarlet and Sophia, Sophia‘s beau Connor Spears, and Scarlet‘s male friend.

The Lakers defeated the Thunder with a final score of 106-81.

The 42-year-old actress won the award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series at the 2018 Critics’ Choice Awards held at The Barker Hangar on Thursday (January 11) in Santa Monica, Calif.

Big Bang Theory is also nominated for Best Comedy Series.
