Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson enjoyed a stroll together in the Big Apple!

The 61-year-old actor and the 60-year-old actress were spotted out and about after grabbing some food on Sunday (October 15) in New York City.

They both matched in head-to-toe black outfits.

The couple was joined by My Big Fat Greek Wedding‘s Nia Vardalos, pictured in our gallery below.

“Beware! Crass self-serving Social Media Post!” Tom captioned the Instagram photo below the next day. “This book goes on sale tomorrow! Hanx.”

Tom will reprise his role as David S. Pumpkins for the Saturday Night Live Halloween Special on October 28 at 11:30 p.m. on NBC!

Nia Vardalos has a fun new project in the works – she is starring in a new series tentatively titled Suburbs Famous, which is inspired by Chewbacca Mom‘s rise to fame!

The My Big Fat Greek Wedding actress got the idea for the series after she appeared alongside the viral star on a morning talk show.

Suburbs Famous “explores what happens after a suburban housewife (Vardalos) accidentally becomes famous in a viral video. Thrust into the cutthroat world of celebrity chefs, the newly divorced mom must navigate between the intense public scrutiny which could destroy her and the investors who want to make her a star… all while realizing she suddenly has the one thing everyone wants: power,” according to Deadline.

“I wanted to explore the concept of sudden fame for someone who isn’t prepared and doesn’t want it, for someone who gets power and doesn’t know what to do with it, as well as what happens next,” Nia said a statement.

In addition to starring in the series, Nia is executive producing the project, which is heading to Bravo.

The 37-year-old Homeland actress and the 41-year-old The Path actor stepped out to show their support at the opening of the Off-Broadway play Tiny Beautiful Things held at the Public Theater at Astor Place on Wednesday (December 7) in New York City.

Tiny Beautiful Things, based on the acclaimed book by Cheryl Strayed, was adapted for the stage by Oscar-nominated and My Big Fat Greek Wedding star Nia Vardalos.

Nia stars as Sugar, the anonymous online advice columnist�”revealed to be Strayed�”who thousands of people have turned to for words of wisdom, honesty, and hope. The show has been recently extended an additional two weeks and will now run through December 31 – But tickets here!

Susan Sarandon is all smiles despite rocking a foot cast at the premiere of her latest film The Meddler held at the Pacific Theatre at The Grove on Wednesday (April 13) in Los Angeles.

The 69-year-old actress was joined at the event by her co-stars J.K. Simmons, Jason Ritter and Sarah Baker, as well as Nia Vardalos, Diane Warren, Hannah Simone and Lamorne Morris, who all came out to show their support.

Kaitlin Doubleday shares a laugh with My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2‘s Nia Vardalos while appearing on Watch What Happens Live on Thursday (March 24) in New York City.

The 31-year-old Empire actress opened up about rumors that her on-screen husband Trai Byers wants to leave the show.

“No,” Kaitlin said when asked if the rumors are true. “I think, well, he is a trained actor and he does work really hard and he did go to Yale and he does compare the show to Shakespeare in a lot of ways but I don’t think that that means that he wants to get killed off and if you do, you better not say that because that means I’m leaving too. He’s going to stay and he doesn’t say that at all.”

Nia Vardalos arrives at the premiere of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2 on Tuesday (March 15) in New York City.

The 53-year-old star was joined on the Windex blue carpet by the movie’s producer Tom Hanks and his wife Rita Wilson, who also appeared in the movie.

Also at the premiere were the movie’s stars Joey Fatone, Andrea Martin, Lainie Kazan, Michael Constantine, Alex Wolff and Elena Kampouris, along with Elaine Hendrix and Elizabeth Gillies.
