The upcoming Fox series stars Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Skyler Samuels, Diego Boneta, Keke Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele, Nick Jonas, Billie Lourd, Ariana Grande, Lucien Laviscount, Glen Powell, Nasim Pedrad, Oliver Hudson and Niecy Nash.

“I think Scream Queens has a much more satirical, cartoonish quality to the attacks than American Horror Story, which is much more sexualized and darker,” creator Ryan Murphy shared during the TCA panel. “We have had healthy discussions with broadcast standards, shockingly more about the language and the girls having an empowering sense of their own sexuality.”

He continued, “That is the thing that I always find very upsetting, is that violence is cool, for the most part. That’s very easy to get through in my job. It’s language. It’s slang, It’s trying to really reflect how people talk. It’s trying to write characters who are open about their sexuality and talk about their sexuality that gets the most attention and the most pushback.”

Scream Queens premieres Tuesday, September 22nd @ 9PM ET/PT on Fox.

Kurt Russell is opening up for the first time about Oliver and Kate Hudson‘s relationship with their biological father Bill Hudson following the Father’s Day drama last month.

Oliver posted on Instagram on the holiday that it was “abandonment day” as he and Kate do not have a relationship with Bill.

“I understood Oliver‘s sense of humor and since then, there’s been some nice back and forth between Bill and Oliver and that’s nice to see,” Kurt told E! News. “You want people to enjoy life as much as they can.”

“We live in a world that if you say something or do something, it can be latched onto for 24 hours or 48 hours,” he added.

The 38-year-old Scream Queens actor was joined for the outing by his mother Goldie Hawn‘s longtime partner Kurt Russell.

The week before, Oliver and sister Kate Hudson‘s biological father Bill spoke out saying that they were dead to him.

This came after Father’s Day when Oliver took to Instagram to slam Bill by calling it “Happy Abandonment Day.”

It sounds like there’ll be quite a lot of victims by the end of Scream Queens‘ first season.

According to THR, only four characters will survive the upcoming Fox anthology series and move on to season two.

“It’s similar to American Horror Story in that it’s anthological but different in that at the end of the first season there will only be four characters out of 25 left,” creator Ryan Murphy told the outlet. “And those four in season two will go on to a new horror genre – like a sorority is a horror genre to me, it’s a place where there were horror movies in the ’80s like Sorority Row – and they will go on. That’s the format of the show.”

As for the mysterious murderer, Ryan said, “In the first episode, you’ve met the killer and there’s a big clue dropped in the first episode as to who the killer is, so you’d have to go back and really watch it. But we tell you who it is so you have to figure it out.”

The show boasts a star-studded cast that includes Jamie Lee Curtis, Emma Roberts, Lea Michele, Ariana Grande, Nick Jonas, Abigail Breslin, Keke Palmer, Oliver Hudson, Diego Boneta, and more.

Kate Hudson‘s biological father Bill has spoken out after her brother Oliver slammed him in a recent Father’s Day Instagram post.

“I say to them now, ‘I set you free,’” Bill told the Daily Mail. “I had five birth children [including three from another relationship], but I now consider myself a father of three. I no longer recognize Oliver and Kate as my own.”

He continued, “I would ask them to stop using the Hudson name. They are no longer a part of my life. Oliver‘s Instagram post was a malicious, vicious, premeditated attack. He is dead to me now. As is Kate. I am mourning their loss even though they are still walking this earth.”

Bill said that his ex-wife Goldie Hawn never had anything bad to say about him until Kurt Russell entered the picture.

“But when Kurt came on the scene, the narrative changed, and I became the big, bad wolf,” Bill said. “I would say to her, ‘Goldie, why are you trashing me and saying I’m an absent father when it’s simply not the case?’ and she’d laugh and go ‘Oh Bill, you know it makes for a better story.’”

Bill and Goldie were married from 1976 to 1980 and the kids were raised by their mom and her longtime partner Kurt after the divorce.

Kate Hudson‘s brother (and fellow actor) Oliver Hudson took to his Instagram account on Father’s Day to slam their estranged dad Bill Hudson.

“Happy abandonment day… @katehudson,” the 38-year-old actor captioned a photo of the three of them together many years ago.

Bill was married to Goldie Hawn from 1976 to 1980 and the kids were raised by their mom and her longtime partner Kurt Russell after the divorce.

Kate decided to honor Kurt that day instead. “Pa, just simply….. Thank you 🙏 Happy Fathers Day I love you to the moon and back. ✨ #HappyFathersDay,” she wrote on Instagram with the below photo.
