Olivia Rodrigo‘s new album Sour was just released and unsurprisingly, Joshua Bassett is now a trending topic on Twitter.

Fans have been speculating that Olivia‘s music is about Joshua ever since the release of her song “Driver’s License” back in January.

For those who don’t know, Olivia and Joshua play a couple on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series and it has been rumored they were also in a real-life relationship. After their reported split, he began dating fellow Disney actress Sabrina Carpenter.

There are several songs on Sour that fans believe to be about Joshua, but the one that is getting the most attention is called “Traitor.”

Olivia Rodrigo‘s debut album Sour has arrived!

It has been a huge year for the 18-year-old singer, who shot to fame at the beginning of the year with her song “Driver’s License.”

Olivia remained at number one on the Hot 100 for 10 weeks with her debut single and her second song “Deja Vu” also debuted in the Top 10. Her latest song “Good 4 U” is expected to have a Top 10 debut as well, making her the first act to debut their first three songs in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 chart.

If you look at the songwriting credits on the album, you’ll notice that Taylor Swift is listed and we have an explanation as to why!

Earlier this month, Olivia gave her first UK performance at the Brit Awards in London and then this past weekend, she performed on Saturday Night Live.

The 18-year-old High School Musical: The Musical: The Series actress and singer performed as the musical guest on the NBC sketch comedy series on Saturday (May 15).

For her first performance, Olivia gave a sultry performance of her mega-hit song “driver’s license.”

Later on in the show, Olivia returned to the stage to perform her latest single “Good 4 U,” which she dropped several days earlier.

The two songs will be featured on Olivia‘s upcoming debut album, Sour, which she will be releasing on Friday, May 21.
