Chris Pine is heading to television next year in the new limited series I Am the Night and trailer number two has arrived!

The 38-year-old actor reteamed with his Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins for the new show. She is the executive producer and will direct some of the episodes.

I Am the Night tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel (India Eisley) who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel (Jefferson Mays), a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.

Chris plays Jay Singletary, a former Marine-turned-hack-reporter/paparazzo.

I Am the Night will premiere on January 28, 2019.

The cast members of Wonder Woman 1984 have been hard at work filming the new sequel, and we now know why the new film has been set in the 1980s.

“One of my favorite things about making the original was that it took place during World War I in 1917, an era full of metaphors like modernity and the mechanized world,” director Patty Jenkins said (via Deadline).

“I grew up in the ’80s, and this has its own look and feel. The reason I am excited is it showed mankind at its best and worst. It was grand and wonderful, there was great music and there were elegant and beautiful things. But other things about the decade revealed the worst of us. To have Wonder Woman in that period of time that was us at our most extreme, is wonderful,” she added.

Wonder Woman 1984 hits theaters on November 1, 2019.

Gal Gadot hits the red carpet alongside Chris Pine and director Patty Jenkins as they arrive at the 2018 Comic-Con on Saturday afternoon (July 21) at the Hilton Bayfront in San Diego, Calif.

The 33-year-old actress looked pretty in a purple dress while her 37-year-old co-star kept things cool in an all orange outfit as they stepped out to promote the upcoming Wonder Woman 1984.

Salma Hayek is joined by director Patty Jenkins and actress Sofia Boutella while walking in the women’s march at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday (May 12) in Cannes, France.

The ladies were among 82 women who joined forces on the steps of the Palais des Festivals to represent the only 82 female director who have ever had a film featured in the festival.

The march was held during the premiere of Girls of the Sun and Helen Mirren walked the carpet at the event as well!

Wonder Woman has finally received her star!

Lynda Carter received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday afternoon (April 3) on Hollywood Blvd in Los Angeles.

The 66-year-old original Wonder Woman TV series star was supported at the event by her husband Robert Altman and their kids James and Jessica along with the director of the Wonder Woman 2017 film Patty Jenkins.

“It was Lynda’s portrayal of Wonder Woman that made me fall in love with her because her Wonder Woman made me believe that I could have whatever I wanted, and even more importantly, it made me unashamed to want it,” Patty said during the ceremony. “She wasn’t afraid to be soft while tough, she wasn’t afraid to be as loving as she was strong, she wasn’t afraid to love being a woman and celebrate her femininity, all while kicking ass and changing the world.”

The 49-year-old Logan actor and the 25-year-old Star Wars: The Last Jedi actress won Best Actor and Best Actress at the 2018 Empire Awards held on Sunday night (March 18) in London, England.

Kristen Wiig will play Cheetah in the upcoming Wonder Woman sequel!

Following early reports that the funny Bridesmaids actress was tapped to star as the villian in the upcoming movie, director Patty Jenkins confirmed the news on Friday (March 9).

“So excited to confirm the most thrilling news. Yes! It’s true! So incredibly lucky to welcome the sensationally talented Kristen Wiig to our Wonder Woman family. Can’t wait to finally work with one of my favorites. And SO excited by what we have planned. #Cheetah!!! @GalGadot,” Patty wrote on Twitter.

The film, which is set during the Cold War in the 1980s, is set to hit theaters in 2019.
