'She's All That' - See Red Carpet Premiere Pics, 20 Years Later!

Can you believe that it has been 20 years since the teen comedy She’s All That hit theaters?!

The movie was released on January 29, 1999 and was a big hit, grossing over $100 million worldwide on a budget of just $7 million.

So many of the film’s actors went on to become huge stars, including Freddie Prinze Jr., Rachael Leigh Cook, the late Paul Walker, Matthew Lillard, Anna Paquin, Usher, Gabrielle Union, Dule Hill, Jodi Lyn O’Keefe, Clea DuVall, and more.

'She's All That' Remake Is Not Happening!

So that She’s All That remake that made waves last night – it’s reportedly not happening!

A rep from Weinstein Company told JustJared.com that there is “no deal” to make the movie.

The remake was reported to be directed by Kenny Leon and feature diverse casting for its leads. Freddie Prinze Jr, Rachael Leigh Cook, Paul Walker, Gabrielle Union, Anna Paquin, and Usher starred in the first film.

While the movie may not be happening now, we can hold out hope that maybe one day it will happen!

'She's All That' Remake Happening with a Diverse Cast!

A remake of the movie She’s All That is currently in development and it is reportedly going to feature diverse casting!

The original film, released in 1999, starred Freddie Prinze Jr. as a high school jock who makes a bet that he can turn an unattractive girl (Rachael Leigh Cook) into the school’s prom queen.

Also featured in the star-studded cast were Paul Walker, Gabrielle Union, Anna Paquin, Usher, and many more.

The remake is going to be directed by Kenny Leon and feature diverse casting for its leads, according to TheWrap.
