Michael B. Jordan‘s first official trailer for his new Rooster Teeth anime series gen:LOCK has arrived!

“Way too excited to show you guys the final trailer for #genLock all my real followers / fans know how much I’m an Anime fan and this show fulfilled one of my life – long dreams of voicing a character on an animated show,” the 31-year-old actor captioned with his Instagram post. “Jan 26th it’s going to get crazy on @roosterteeth”

The premise of the series, as described by Rooster Teeth: “Fifty years in the future, an oppressive authoritarian force threatens to conquer the world. A daring team is recruited to pilot a new form of weaponized neuroscience that powers devastating mecha, but they must be willing to sacrifice everything to save the world.”

The voice cast also includes Dakota Fanning, David Tennant and Maisie Williams.

The co-stars were joined at the event by director Steven Caple Jr. and the first Creed film’s director Ryan Coogler, who executive produced this film.

The friends and family screening was hosted by producer Irwin Winkler.

Creed II, which also stars Sylvester Stallone and Dolph Lundgren, hits theaters on Wednesday. Make sure to see it over Thanksgiving weekend!

Also in attendance to show their support was Sylvester‘s wife Jennifer Flavin and daughter Sistine Stallone, Dolph‘s girlfriend Jenny Sandersson and daughter Ida Lundgren, Justine Skye, Omari Hardwick, Brigitte Nielsen and Terrence Jenkins.

Michael recently opened up about what he eats for his cheat meals.

“When I’m in Philly, cheesesteaks for sure,” Michael said. He added, “Cheeseburgers. I’m a sandwich guy. I just love burgers and fries. There’s something about it that’s so good. And I’m a cheesecake guy. A lot of cheese.”

The 31-year-old actor was accompanied by his co-star Florian Munteanu and the film’s director Steven Caple Jr. as they introduced the flick ahead of the screening.

In Creed II, Michael reprises his role as Adonis Johnson and must face off against a new opponent, Viktor Drago (Florian), the son of Ivan Drago, who was portrayed by Dolph Lundgren in the 1985 film Rocky IV.
