Tyler the Creator looks sharp on the cover of GQ‘s Men of the Year issue, available now.

Here’s what the 28-year-old musician had to share with the mag:

On his recent album IGOR: “The IGOR s**t plays a thin line between goofy and funny and art. I always have to be careful so it doesn’t f**k everyone’s perception up. It’s art, and an idea.”

On meeting his manager early in his career: “I was just such an erratic, wild personality. But I had these ideas I was serious on/ When you meet someone who’s like, ‘PEE ON ME!! RAH RAH RAH! I’M CRAZY!’ all the time…But then, I have this actual, serious idea. Some people would write you off, but they didn’t. When you finally find someone to listen to you after years of not being taken seriously, you hold that s**t to your heart.”

On writing originally writing “Earfquake” for Justin Bieber: “I wanted him to have it, and it didn’t work out. And then I asked him to do background vocals, but nothing.”

Drake was the surprise guest on the second and final night of the Camp Flog Gnaw festival, which was organized by Tyler, The Creator, and the rapper was booed off stage.

Fans were reportedly hoping that Frank Ocean would be the surprise guest and when Drake showed up on stage, they weren’t happy.

Now, Tyler is reacting to the disrespect that his fans showed Drake. He has changed his Twitter bio to say, “embarrassed by fans right now.”

Tyler also wrote a series of tweets about it. He said, “I THOUGHT BRINGING ONE OF THE BIGGEST ARTIST ON THE F*CKING PLANET TO A MUSIC FESTIVAL WAS FIRE! BUT FLIPSIDE, A LIL TONE DEAF KNOWING THE SPECIFIC CROWD IT DREW. SOME CREATED A NARRATIVE IN THEIR HEAD AND ACTED OUT LIKE ASSHOLES WHEN IT DIDNT COME TRUE AND I DONT F*CK WITH THAT.”

He continued, “THAT SH*T WAS LIKE MOB MENTALITY AND CANCEL CULTURE IN REAL LIFE AND I THINK THAT SHIT IS F*CKING TRASH”

Fans were not happy to see Drake at a recent performance at Tyler, the Creator‘s annual Camp Flog Gnaw festival at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles.

An Instagram Live that was posted earlier led fans to believe that the special guest that evening was going to be Frank Ocean, and instead, it was Drake. It’s speculated that this is why he was booed off the stage.

A video quickly made the rounds on social media with Drake on stage telling the audience, “You know, Imma tell you, like I said, I’m here for you tonight. If you want me to keep going, I will keep going.”

Boos could then be heard, with an audible “no” coming from the crowd as well.

“It’s been love. I love ya. I go by the name of Drake, thank you for having me,” he said, concluding his set 20 minutes early, Billboard reports.

The models hit the carpet as they arrived at the 2019 WSJ. Magazine’s Innovators Awards on Wednesday night (November 6) at the Museum of Modern of Art in New York City.

Gigi looked pretty in a light blue dress while Irina rocked a chic, tan suit for the event.

Jon Hamm and John Legend are enjoying a night out in Los Angeles!

The 48-year-old Mad Men actor and the 40-year-old singer stepped out for the 2019 LACMA Art + Film Gala presented by Gucci on Saturday night (November 2) at LACMA in LA.

Stars are showing their support for A$AP Rocky.

After the 30-year-old rapper’s manager provided an update on A$AP Rocky‘s arrest and imprisonment in Sweden saying that he is being held in “inhumane conditions,” rappers are saying that they will never visit Sweden again.

The boycott started after A$AP Ferg took to Instagram to share a photo of A$AP Rocky, writing, “He’s in Sweeden [sic] locked up in solitary confinement with no visit or phone call privileges. They are trying to keep him there for 2 weeks and if convicted he will be looking at 6 years just for defending himself in a fight. He was no in form the aggressor in this ordeal. Pray for justice #freeflacko.”

Tyler, the Creator then commented on the photo saying, “no more sweden for me, ever.”

Schoolboy Q agreed, replying, “I’m not going nomo eitHer…#FLACKO.”

T.I. then posted Tyler and Schoolboy‘s comments on Instagram along with the caption, “Welp…There it is…Sweden’s now officially outside of the culture on the NO Go list!!! Until they #FreeFlacko It’s UP!!!!”

A scary 6.6 magnitude earthquake rumbled throughout Los Angeles on Thursday (July 4) morning, which not only caused celebrities to react on social media, but an unexpected viral hit for Tyler, The Creator too!

At the same time as #Earthquake became a trending topic on Twitter, so did Tyler‘s Igor single “Earfquake.”

Fans of Tyler began tweeting jokes and memes about the single, which only fueled the hashtag.

The song’s music video now has over 25 million views, and many of the most recent comments refer to the California earthquake.
